Episode 1

Well, I probably shouldn't be starting another story before finishing my last one. Especially because I still have Total Drama Virtual Reality coming up. Also I have an announcement about TDVR too. That season will no longer be a sequel to TDAS, it will be a reboot of Total Drama, my friends and I will be handpicking a cast of 22 to make up the first season. It is heavily inspired by the Shuffled series, the Random series, and Total Drama Archipelago, which I heavily recommend all of those. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the read!

The camera begins to pan over the dock. It passes by twenty-four pair of shoes stopping at a twenty-fifth with a considerable distance between the other twenty-four, the camera begins to rise revealing that the twenty-fifth pair belongs to Chris McLean.

"Greetings loyal fans! Are you ready for another action packed summer? Of course you are, you wouldn't be watching if you weren't. This season I will be introducing the biggest twist to ever grace this lovely show. Bigger than the team swaps, bigger than the returns, and even bigger than the Chris McLean immunity idol! This season there will be "Team Captains" and also in this season, when a team loses they will NOT be voting someone off. The other teams, that's right I said TEAMS, will be voting someone off. The other teams sole purpose is to vote off the Team Captain! If the Team Captain gets voted off that whole team gets eliminated! If someone else gets voted off, that person just goes home… Not as fun. For the first time ever, we will be having FOUR teams! So prepare yourselves for… Total! Drama.. CAPTAIN INSANITY!"

THE INTRO PLAYS

"And welcome back!" Chris exclaims, "I will now introduce the first team. Alejandro!"

Alejandro runs up, "This season will be mine."

"Yeah, doubt it. Heather!"

Heather casually walks up she glares at Alejandro and says, "No it's going to be mine."

"Hey uh, guys, this season is more of a TEAM game.. Trent!"

Trent walks up with a guitar, "Glad to be back man. Hopefully I do a bit better this time."

"You won't. Amy and Samey!"

"Ugh, why did you put me on a team with HER?" spits Amy.

Samey looks saddened, "Amy can't you just be nice to me."

"Why would I be nice to the inferior twin?"

Chris steps between the two, "She lasted longer than you last time Amy! Last up is Topher!"

Topher walks out, "Excited to be back. I will be winning this season."

"No funny business this time?"

"Yep! No funny business!"

Chris steps in front of the newly formed team, Alejandro and Heather, and Amy and Samey, are glaring at each other. Topher looks confident and Trent looks concerned with how most of his team hate each other. Chris clears his throat, "You guys will be known as Team Thunderstorm! The first member of our second team is.. Dakota!"

Dakota walks out checking her nails, "Is Sam here?"

"No." Dakota looks sad and stands behind Chris. "Ezekiel!"

Ezekiel runs out excited, "Yo yo yo! The Zekester is in the house and I'm winning this time!"

"Look Zeke, don't get kicked off early this time. Courtney!"

Courtney storms up, "I'm the captain right?"

"I can't reveal if you're the captain or not. Shawn!"

Shawn walks up inspecting his team mates.

"What are you doing there Shawn?"

"Making sure none of them are bit."

"Alright.. You whole zombie thing… Anyways, Noah!"

Noah walks up with a book in hand, "Let's get this over with."

"Be more enthusiastic Noah."

"No."

"Fine. Be that way. Jo!"

Jo walks onto the screen and holds up her first, "Make me the captain! Or else!"

"Just for that, I won't make you team captain!" Chris walks in front of the six standing there, Noah just reading his book, Shawn still anxiously inspecting his teammates, Dakota filing her nails, Courtney standing there looking angry, Ezekiel being excited, and Jo inspecting her team to see if they're up to par. "You guys are officially dubbed Team Blizzard! Onto team 3! DJ brother, get out here!"

DJ walks out smiling, "Now that the curse is officially over it can't affect my game."

"You're right, but your bad strategy can. Beth!"

"Nice to be back after so long."

"Don't get used to it, Sierra!"

Sierra runs out angry, "I can't believe you brought me back without Cody AGAIN."

"I can't believe you're still creepily obsessed with that geek. Next up is Dave!"

Dave walks out, "Thanks for bringing me back."

"We kinda had to after stranding you back on this island for months. Now let's welcome back Izzy!"

Izzy cartwheels onto screen, "That was fun!"

"Crazy as always.. Last up is Justin!"

Justin walks up and flashes a handsome grin, "Hey. Good to be back on this show."

"We brought you back because we thought it'd be fun to have the two hottest people back. Aka you and Alejandro." Chris steps in front of the six members of the third team, Dave standing near DJ because he's the most normal, DJ patting the shorter teen on the shoulder, Beth and Sierra jumping up and down in excitement, Izzy swooning over Justin, and Justin brushing his hair. "You guys will now be known as Team Tornado! Now moving onto the final team.. Owen!"

Owen runs out excitedly, "WhOoOoOoOoo! Great to be back Chris!"

Chris chuckles, "Great to have you back! Next up is Eva!"

Eva storms out, "It's about time you brought me back!"

"We had to eventually.. All the favorites were becoming stale. Sky!"

Sky jogs out, "Ready to take the win!"

"Implying you'll win… Anyways! Brick come on out!"

Brick runs up and salutes, "Good to be back Mr. McLean!"

"Great to have you back soldier! Dismissed! Back again is Gwen!"

Gwen walks out grumbling, "I wish I didn't have to come back."

"Well you do! Last up is Scott!"

Scott walks out, "Thanks for having me back, I'm not gonna go so far again just to lose this time."

"You're right.. You won't get far!" Chris steps in front of the six teens, Owen is eating some food he somehow found, Scott is rubbing his hands deviously, Sky and Eva are chatting about some sport, Brick is just standing there, and Gwen is standing there and just generally looking upset, "You guys will from now on be known as Team Hurricane! Now if you'll all follow me I'll lead you to our first challenge!"

DJ gasps, "Already? We literally just got here man."

"This season is gonna be a lot harder! Ya know, with the whole mystery twist and all. The team captain already know who they are. I wanted to get this twist going as fast as possible!" The scene suddenly cuts to Chris and the cast standing in front of a castle.

"Alright victims! As you can see there's four castles! The objective of this challenge is to not have your castle destroyed! First team with it destroyed will be eliminated. Last castle standing doesn't have to eat Chef's food and instead will be treated to a steak dinner!"

TEAM THUNDERSTORM

"Alright let's just target Team Hurricane seeing as they are the biggest threats." Alejandro states calmly.

"Why are you calling the shots?" scoffs Heather.

"Because I just am, could we please just focus on taking them out?"

Trent begins to load a catapult aimed at Hurricane's castle and he fires it off.

TEAM HURRICANE

Sky seems to be leading the team when suddenly a giant rock bursts through the wall. "Okay! We need to get a move on as fast as possible or else we'll have to go to elimination."

Eva lifts up the biggest boulder she can find and loads it into the catapult flinging it at Blizzard's castle.

TEAM TORNADO

Justin immediately just launches a boulder at Blizzard's castle.

Dave looks at him, "shouldn't we talk about this before we just start firing?"

"No. I saw Hurricane fire at them so I figured I would too that way two castles will be focusing on one."

Izzy and Beth swoons over Justin, "Good idea!" they both say at once. The whole team just starts launching rocks at Hurricane.

TEAM BLIZZARD

Ezekiel is freaking out, "We're under attack from two castles! What do we do!? What do we do!?"

"Calm down!" shouts Courtney, "We're gonna have to somehow repair the walls!"

Noah looks up from a book, "How do you think we do that, genius?"

"Well first of all you could put down that book!"

"I just think we should give up. The challenge is practically already lost."

"As the captain of this team I say we don't give up."

Noah scoffs and puts down his book getting ready to help.

The camera pans out to see Alejandro looking in, "Oh.. Team captain you say?" he rushes back to his team.

TEAM THUNDERSTORM

Alejandro rushes in, "change of plans! Team up on team Blizzard, I overheard Courtney saying she's captain so we can vote her off and that entire team goes home episode 1."

Heather and Amy smirk and starts loading catapults launching them at team Blizzard's castle causing it to come crashing down.

Chris begins to talk over the loudspeaker, "Alright Team Blizzard will be going to elimination! Now we play to see who will be getting the reward!"

Team Thunderstorm goes back to shooting at Team Hurricane whilst Team Hurricane and Team Tornado shoot at Team Thunderstorm. Hurricane's and Thunderstorm's castle comes down at the same time.

TEAM TORNADO

Justin highfives DJ, "We did it!"

DJ smiles, "Yeah we did!"

Dave, Izzy, Sierra, and Beth begin to cheer as well.

Chris comes back over the loudspeaker, "Well that was an intense ending! Tornado, congrats on the steak dinner. Blizzard, congrats on being the big losers!"

HURRICANE

Eva steps up, "We should vote for the same person."

"Agreed." says Sky.

Alejandro walks into their room, "I overheard Courtney say she was the captain, so if we vote her off that whole team will be gone." Eva smirks. Alejandro walks out of the room and passes by Justin walking in, "This is the perfect time to vote Shawn, if anyone is gonna figure out who the team captains are, it's him." Justin also walks back out.

ELIMINATION

Team Blizzard is sitting on a set of bleachers, Ezekiel, Courtney, and Noah are sitting in the first row and Dakota, Shawn, and Jo are sitting in the second row. The other three teams are also in a separate bleacher. Chris brings out a plate of five marshmallows, "Alright five of you will be safe, one of you will be going home. Unless you know, that one person is the team captain. Anyways the first three marshmallows go to Dakota, Noah, and Jo."

Jo catches hers, "Yes!"

Noah doesn't bother to look up from his book.

Dakota catches hers and starts jumping up excitedly.

"Alright there's three of you left. One of you will be the first one out." The camera pans to Ezekiel who looks very nervous, "Ezekiel, it wouldn't be Total Drama if you didn't go home first.. Sadly, you get to stay." Ezekiel catches his marshmallow and eats it excitedly. "Courtney.. People seem to think that you're the team captain. Shawn, people think you might be able to figure out the captains."

"What? If anyone would be able to figure out the captains it'd be Noah!"

Noah looks up, "I don't care enough to."

"Can you guys stop interrupting me? The last marshmallow goes to Shawn."

Shawn catches his marshmallow and breathes a heavy sigh of relief.

Courtney jumps up and glares at the other teams, "You voted me?! At least I get to take the team down with me."

Alejandro is the one that responds, "Someone heard you talk about being the team captain, figured we'd take your whole team out."

Chris begins to talk again, "Courtney is NOT the captain!"

Courtney glares at Chris, "I thought you were joking when you said I wasn't the captain!"

"Nope!"

"Well who is?"

"Can't reveal that with all the other teams here. Now get out of here!"

"Where do I go?"

"Oh yeah.. This season, we will be using a handy dandy rocket of shame!" The scene cuts to Courtney strapped to a rocket. "Any last words Courtney." "THIS IS NOT SAFE!" The rocket begins to blast off rocketing upwards until it's too high to be seen. Chris chuckles, "That's kind of the point. Well we're one down and twenty three left! Who will be eliminated next time? Find out it all in the next episode of Total! Drama! Captain Insanity!"

THUNDERSTORM VOTES

Alejandro: Obviously I'll be voting Courtney. It's the smart thing to do.

Topher: Courtney.

Trent: As much as I like Courtney as a person, I can't deny that voting her off so her entire team goes home is a good strategy.

Heather: Alejandro may be more useful than I thought, bye-bye Courtney!

Amy: I wish SAMEY was on that team... Guess I have to settle for voting Courtney!

Samey: I think it's mean for all of us to just team up on Courtney, so I vote for Ezekiel. He's kinda weird.

TORNADO VOTES

Justin: Obviously I have to vote off Shawn, can't let him figure out our captain.

Izzy: Justin is hot and he's voting Shawn so I am too.

Dave: Shawn was weird in Pahkitew.. So I vote him.

Sierra: Ezekiel going home first is a tradition! Bye!

Beth: I wish I got to know Shawn a little more, but my whole team is voting him. Bye Shawn!

DJ: I feel bad ganging up on him like this, but I vote Shawn.

HURRICANE VOTES

Eva: Courtney is the captain? Well she gets my vote!

Sky: Getting rid of Courtney is the best for my game. Sorry!

Scott: Courtney is still pretty so I vote Ezekiel.

Brick: A good soldier stays by his squad! So I must vote Courtney!

Gwen: Courtney and I became friends after All Stars.. I vote Zeke.

Owen: I vote Shawn!

Reasoning For Elimination:

Well, I only included Courtney because I thought that she would be an obvious person who would call herself a captain even when she isn't one, and that's an idea I had very early on in planning this and I couldn't let it go.
