Author's Note: So, I got a request for more romance and I thought I'd post a little one-shot since my next few stories will lack romance. So, I hope you guys like the story. (p.s. for anyone reading Albus Severus Potter, I won't be updating until like the 8th or 9th.) Enjoy the story and review and/or favorite!

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. All I own is the plot of this story.

A Dinner for Two

"Bye Harry!" Ginny said as she hugged Harry and gave him a kiss.

"Bye Gin! Love you!" Harry said. Then, Harry grabbed his coat and wand and walked to the fireplace to Floo to work. After Harry left, Ginny went upstairs to check on James. Today he would be going to Ginny's parents' house so that Ginny could do something nice for Harry. Ever since James was born (which was like a year ago), they hadn't had anytime to themselves. Tonight, though, Ginny was planning a nice night. She was making a nice dinner the muggle way and she was renting Harry's favorite movies. It was going to be great. She had even bought a special dress just for tonight.

After checking on James, Ginny walked back downstairs and started cleaning the house up. This she would use magic for, but that was it. After that, her wand wouldn't be able to help her out any. First, Ginny tackled the living room. With a flick of her wand, all of James' toys were once again organized into the unused containers that were in the corner. Once organized, Ginny went and put together a few toys in his diaper bag and with some other necessities. After packing it, she went back upstairs to get James and get him ready to go to his grandparents' house. "Good morning, Mister!" Ginny said, excitedly. James giggled softly and held his arms up for Ginny to grab him. Ginny did so, and put him in the tiny Weasley sweater that had a big, capital 'J' on it. It was burgundy, like all of Harry's had been. After putting on the sweater, Ginny changed James' diaper and put a pair of jeans on him. "There we go! Mommy's boy is all ready to go see Gamma and Gampa! Oh, they are gonna be so happy to see you!" Ginny cooed. James just smiled and giggled at his mother. "Well, here we go!" Ginny said. Then, she carried James downstairs and grabbed his bag before Flooing to the burrow.

After dropping James off and staying for most of the morning to talk, Ginny had to get home and get a start on everything. After going by the liquor store to get some wine, Ginny went home and started cleaning the rest of the house. She walked around flicking her wand every which way, attempting to organize things. At about 5 pm, Ginny was expecting Harry any minute, so she put the candles on the table, lit them, set the table, poured the wine, took the food out of the oven and set it on the table. After taking a deep breath and smoothing out her dress, Ginny heard Harry call from the living room. "Hey Ginny! Did you do some cleaning?" He called. Ginny gulped and walked into the living room.

"I did do some cleaning. I also prepared a nice dinner for us and got my parents to keep James for the night. The whole night." Ginny said, raising her eyebrows. Harry smiled.

"I like that. So, you said dinner?" Harry asked. Ginny nodded and grabbed his hand, leading him into the dining room. He sat down and they started talking about his day, her day and everything that came to mind. Then, after dinner, Ginny magically cleared away all the dishes and led Harry into the living room. "So, should we watch a movie or have some fun?" Ginny asked as she winked.

"I definitely think we should have some fun." Harry said, as he picked Ginny up and carried her up to their room. He kicked the door shut with his foot and the rest was history.
