Drowned in Fame-RubySapphire
He smiled brightly as a crowd of girls fawned over him. He warmly welcomed them, and didn't hesitate to sign papers. He never looked around to search for the person who once was beside him.
She was faraway from him now, perched on a tree branch, and would watch him blow kisses and laugh with his fans. She felt her heart falling and burning with jealousy, those kisses weren't directed to her and his laughter wasn't of mockery. Her grip on the branch tighten, making the bark break. She furrowed her eyebrows. She realized that he didn't noticed she was absent, and he had completely ignored her from the start.
Sapphire punched the trunk of the tree, it angered her that he wouldn't bother looking for her. Ruby would always forget. He was never aware of her being trampled by his fans. Ruby would always get surrounded by his fans when he steps out of his house, and somehow they located their secret base. Now the base is full of pictures of him and his fans, and the gifts that were for Sapphire were replaced by his gifts from his fans. There was no signs of Ruby and Sapphire. His fans ruined their alone time. He doesn't have time for friends, family, or for Sapphire.
Ruby was never bothered by this fame of his, it made him forget about the people close to him, but it never made him forget about his lovely fans of his. Ruby embraced his fans and he lets them take photos with him. He still wasn't bothered, he loved the attention.
Once the crowd is gone, Sapphire hopes that Ruby would wonder what had happened to her. She hoped that he would ask her if she was okay, since she was trampled by his fans. Her hope shattered. He walks away with a pleased smile, as he says, "I wish I had a lovely girlfriend like my fabulous fans."
She chokes on her tears as she knew that his heart had drowned in filthy fame.
