The day after the helicopter incident was a simple and typical day , or was it?
"And you see the Kira killing have again sta--" Lights explanation was cut off by something unexpected and different.
Beside Ryuuzaki was a brown house rat nibbling on some sweets that L purposely placed.
"What's wrong Light-kun ," he asked. Light tried to speak but all he can utter were syllables. The rat started crawling towards Light and.
"ARGHH!! get it off me!!" he screamed. The whole head quarters immediately rushed to them and saw L struggling to control Light from over reacting from a mouse.He did want to leave Light there alone with the mouse but he couldn't , he's handcuffed with him. "Calm down Light-kun, it's just a mouse" he said
"NO! it's a rat," he replied.
"Light-kun there's no difference,"
"yes there is," he again answered
"Then, what is it?" Ryuuzaki asked.
"I don't know , I can't remember, i'm too afraid!".
The task force team was surprised from Light's actions and Mr. Yagami murmured with dismay,
"I thought he had solved that in the 3 years therapy?"
..After 2 long hours of Light trying to escape the wrath of the fear in rats.
"I can't take it anymore" he said. Carelessly , he took out his pen and switched something on his watch.They saw the paper under his watch.
Light immediately wrote a name 'Mouse Rat'. Too bad it didn't work.
He continued screaming like there's no tomorrow. Then, Amane appeared she was with Rem and Ryuk , " Light, I'm here you promised we'll go out today," to her surprise,her love is turning nuts over a rat.
L, in the other hand is laughing so hard the whole HQ's brain are jiggling.
"I caught you now Kira," he spoke "All right!! I'm Kira I'm Kira , now would you dispose your stupid mouse", he replied forgetting the penalty of Kira's acts. Mr. Yagami collapsed of what he heard from his own son and was immediately send to the hospital with Aizawa and Mogi.
"I thought you said it's a rat?" L teased "No difference just get it out of here". Mr. Yagami unexpectedly had a cardiac arrest because of what he heard. the task force ecept for Matsuda brought him to the hospital.
Thus, L did throw the poor rat/mouse out of the window of the 13th floor of the tall building.
"Light-kun , now that the mouse/rat is gone, handcuffs Light alone and removes his you just said it our self didn't you but since you confessed to us we will just tell the public that Kira is captured now and this little incident will remain a secret." Ryuuzaki said. Matsuda and Amane were still there so they heard it including Rem and Ryuk.Ryuk was laughing hysterrically for what just happened to kira.
"What's for exchange?" Light asked he's sure there's something about the deal.
"Oh, nothing special, getting lock up ina isolated room for two weeks" L replied with a grin.
"Thats it?, you think the great kira can't do it?" Light replied with confidence.
" With a couple of mice. Also we'll burn all the death notes and the end, Kira Case is closed" L added.
And so, Light was locked-up but he still managed to survive the mice. He also didn't realize that one of the mice was the one L threw out the window. L knew it would be pointless to kill the mouse so he asked Watari to catch it. Mr. Yagami was confined in the hospital for 3 months and recovered. He still loved his son after all the things he had done.
...AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER... NOT REALLY
