Hey guys!! So I haven't written in a while, but I need to get some Malec scenes that have been in my head off of my chest. So without further ado, here we go...
Warlock
Now, Alec isn't necessarily a scary guy.
He's only scary when it comes to the people he cares about, and no one wants to risk that wrath. However this is sadly the reason that very nearly cost another young shadowhunter his dignity and possibly his life.
It was a normal day at the institute, no one headed out on a mission just yet, everyone bustling about doing their normal activities, when a young naïve male shadowhunter said it. No one is really sure how the topic came up or in what context it was said, but he did say it.
Warlock.
Now, it's not the fact that he said the word, but it was the tone in which he said it, No doubt having been raised in Idris and not entirely caught up with who works the institute, one particular person in general.
Anyhow, the moment the word warlock was uttered with that sort of contemp and disgust and hate in that tone of voice, the institute goes dead silent.
Not even a shuffle of papers.
Everyone seems completely frozen in fear or in anticipation and the young teenager slowly comes to the realization that something's become very off.
His smile fades as he slowly turns around to find a pair of blue eyes boring so intensely into his and someone standing so close to him the boy has to take a step back to take in the full sight of Alec Lightwood, who basically ran the institute, not to mention was an absolute freakin legend in the war with Valentine and Sabastian.
Alec takes a deep breath to calm himself, gives every gawking person in the room a tight smile, and pulls the boy aside to talk to him. Everyone immediately pretended like nothing happened and went back to their business as usual, and the young teen quickly learned a valuable lesson.
Safe to say no one insulted any sort of Downworlder for a very long time, at least not at the institute, and Magnus got a few appreciative and slightly fearful looks the next time he picked up is boyfriend from the institute. Not that he really cared, after all. His boyfriend wasn't really that scary when you got to know him.
