Disclaimer: I of course do not own InuYasha, for I am neither lucky enough or talented enough to have created something this wonderful. I also do not own the movie A Little Princess, nor the song "Kindle My Heart" from said movie.

A/N: Konnichi wa! This is my very first post for fan fiction! It's just a very short oneshot songfic filled with so much fluff you may become diabetic…. It's dedicated to my first and so far only fan- IrishKaoru, who has been waiting so very patiently. Read and review please! No flames though. Arigato!

Sure, he was still a tough-talker, and he could be irritable and sarcastic; but he had come so far.

He loved her so much. She had surrounded him with warmth and hope from the very beginning; and had melted the icy barrier that had formed around his heart.

And my heart cannot be
Kindled without you

He had never felt this way about anyone, ever. He knew he would love her forever and beyond, never doubting in the bond that the two of them shared. They were true soul mates, destined to be together by the fates. There never had been nor would there ever be someone who would evoke the same feelings in him as Kagome did. Of this he was certain.
