Annabelle's POV
I was scanning the crowd on platform 9 ¾ for Cassidy and Iris my two best friends when I felt a light tug on my pants. I looked down to my sister Carmen.
"Yes Carmen?"
"Do you really have to go?" She started crying, I lifted her into my arms.
"Oh Carmen, I'll be back for the holidays." I wiped away her tears.
"But that's so far away!" she wailed into my shoulder.
"Annabelle!" I heard the all too familiar voice of Iris call my name.
"Carmen I promise I'll write you often." I said good bye to her and my dad. My brother josh had already boarded the train. I caught up with Iris.
"Come on Fred, George, and Cassidy already have a compartment!" She was pulling me by my arm.
"Nice to see you too." I laughed as she rolled her eyes and continued pulling me along.
"Hey Annabelle!" Cassidy greeted me once in the compartment.
"Hey Cass!" I plopped down next to George. "Where's Ron?" I looked around and noticed he wasn't next to Iris like always.
"I'm right here!" he came through the door just as the train started moving. Typical Ron always late, but that's why Iris and him worked together. She was always early, got very high grades, he was late and did decently in school. He reminded her to relax when she gets too uptight. She makes sure he passes his classes and doesn't start slacking again. Don't get me wrong Iris isn't the goody two shoes like she sounds she can be like that, but she can get pretty mean sometimes. She's the girl that is extremely smart, but will chew someone out if necessary and when she does it's pretty scary. Now George and I we're different. We joke around, goof off, and pull pranks with Fred. I'm one of the few that can tell them apart. That's George, but I'm a lot more than that but you'll figure that out soon enough. Cassidy she's obsessed with anime, but I don't have much room to talk I know all the music by heart from my favorite musicals and most from others. Back to Cassidy, she is really hyper and bubbly nearly always happy. She's the crazy messed up one of the group and Fred and her, well I'm not sure how or why the work but they do so why complain?
"So Annabelle, how was your summer?" Cassidy asked me.
"Oh same old, same old watching Carmen while my dad worked in the shop and Josh did stuff with his friends or watching clips of musicals and watching movies." I laughed at the memory of Carmen yelling that if she heard one more musical come from the computer she would smash it.
"How was your guys summer?" I asked.
"It was great I finally finished my new anime series!" Cassidy exclaimed.
"I had an awesome summer I read 10 books!" Iris replied.
"Bloody hell Iris is that all you do?" Ron laughed and playfully punched her shoulder.
"Shut up Ron!" Iris pushed him, "At least I don't sit around all summer and let my brothers test products on me!" she laughed at the face he made.
"What products?" Cassidy and I exclaimed together.
"You didn't tell them!" Iris shouted at the twins.
"TELL US WHAT?" Cassidy and I said together yet again.
"Well you see," Fred started only to have George finish for him.
"Fred and I are starting our own joke shop, but we didn't want to tell you guys until we knew it was official."
"Oh George that's awesome!" I hugged him.
"Oh this summer…." Iris started telling a story from the summer and that's how we spent the train ride telling stories from the summer, laughing, and telling jokes.
