The hallway was silent except for the clicking of a group of people walking down the hall. Draco looked around nervously. He couldn't believe it. It had happened. Dumbledore was dead and it was his fault. He should have stopped them; he should have never let them come. Now he would have to live with the guilt forever. His eyes rested on Snape. Dumbledore had trusted him, and now, he was dead. Anger built inside of him.

Draco began to slow down, tailing behind at the back of the group. Then he noticed something. A bushy-haired girl has hiding in the shadows, her wand pointed at Snape. Silently, he snuck behind her, covering her mouth with his hand, and taking her wand. Her scream was muffled so no one could hear.

Draco moved in front of her motioning her to be silent. She nodded, but as soon as his hand left her face, she tried to scream again, only to be silenced with a Silencing Spell.

"Listen Granger," he said, "You need to stay safe. Hex those Death Eaters and you're history."

Hermione mouthed, And you cares so much because?

Draco sighed. "Because I'm not a murderer, I don't want to see people die. Especially you." And before she could react, he leaned forward and kissed her. Hermione was shocked, but kissed back anyway. After all, this was the man she was in love with.

They stayed like that for a few seconds until a shill voice called for Draco. With one quick kiss, he let go, mouthing sorry before leaving her. And Hermione just stood there, silent tears rolling down her cheeks.

Um, yeah. I know, a little thrown together, but when I saw the HBP movie I thought Hey, what if Hermione was there in the Hallway? I wish I could have done it differently, but I'm satisfied. So, please review and let me know what you think.
