Rachel sang the last note of the song she had been belting out for the past 3 minutes . As she stared up into the bright lights and the music ended the silence that filled the huge room was soon broken by a roar of aplause. Her eyes trailed into the audience. Although her sight was bluring from the mist of the smoke machine , she could only just make out her many standing ovations.

her loafers padded off the Broadway stage. As she reached back stage a little innocent voice shouted "mommy!". She heard the patter of tiny footsteps as Rebecca, Rachel's 2 year old daughter, came running and hugged Rachels leg.

Rachel patted the young girl's head geantly and smiled brightly "hey sweetie".

"You were really good!" Rebecca smiled up at Rachel which made Rachel giggle because her daughter's two front teeth were missing.

"thank you, Becca." she said proudly.

Rachel looked up from her beautiful daughter's smile as she saw a figure ut of the corner of her eye get closer to her. The figure hugged her from behind and whispered in her ear "well done, Rach.. I'm proud of you."

"Daddy!" Rebecca reached up and was picked up by Rachel so she could be closer to her parents.

"thank you, Finn.." she smiled the cute but nervous smile she always did when her boyfriend complemented her. A small blush rose in her cheeks, too, as she leaned into Finn.

Finn placed a soft but quick kiss on rachels rosie cheek. "you ready to go home? looks like someones tired out." he chuckled and patted Becca's head. Rebecca had her head leaned onto Rachels shoulder looking already half asleep.

Rachel smiled sweetly at their innocent looking daughter and nodded in agreement. "she's not the only one. lets go."
