A/N: Yo! I know that I promised you updates of other stories before I made a new one, but I have been playing this game recently and when I went into the fanfiction crossover archive I noticed a disturbing few crossovers in it. (Funny enough, it's crossovers still outnumber it's actual archive- one of the only archives that do!) So, I have decided to remedy this by creating a few new ones.

Summary: Harry, at the age of five, goes with his family to Vigrid for his uncle's business deal with a man called Balder. After he meets him, he somehow sees into Purgatorio and sees the real happenings behind what is going on there.

Disclaimer: Don't own Bayonetta or Harry Potter.

Chapter 1: The start of a new life

Harry glanced at the elevator floor number nervously as he stood beside what looked to be a human-walrus hybrid.

The man, his uncle Vernon, generally looked terrible, but standing next to him in a tiny elevator really accentuated his true ugliness. He was fat enough to have a quadruple chin, took up most of the elevator space, was huge in height, and had a terrible looking mustache that only heightened the comparison of the man to a Walrus. He wore dark clothes with white lining on them that was made of fur, and he had a Bowler Hat on, as if it were the latest new fashion.

Harry, in contrast, had his under-nutrition highlighted. He was skinny and short, as well as bony. He also had bright green eyes and wore a pair of oval glasses that looked as if they had been broken quite a few times.

The elevator was playing really crappy elevator music as it ascended up the building into the top floor office.

"Now, boy," The gravelly voice of his uncle Vernon grumbled out, "this is an important deal to my company, so you are to stay silent and wait in the office. This means that you are not to do anything while I am in there, so you know the usual punishment? It will be at least tripled if you screw this up."

Harry just nodded fearfully; the usual punishment was ten lashings with his uncle's cat o' nine tails. To at least triple it meant pain more than he was sure that he could actually survive.

Uncle Vernon stared at him for a good few seconds before he either got satisfied that Harry was going to listen to him or he decided that he couldn't handle looking at the freak any longer. Harry was unsure which it was that time, just like most of the other times that his uncle looked away.

The elevator finally dinged to a stop and revealed the top floor of a gigantic building with glass window panes on all sides of the office so that you could see the entire city from the building.

There was a bored looking secretary wearing a blue blouse and a long skirt and high heels there. She may have been considered pretty by most people, but Harry was too afraid to actually take a close look and notice it.

His uncle, however, did. Harry was sure that if the woman hadn't given his uncle a dismissive glance and then pointed him towards the back room that his uncle would have tried to hit on her and sleep with her, marriage be damned.

Harry just sat down in one of the chairs while his uncle was in the back room before noticing what looked to be a shadow going by. Harry looked up from where he was sitting to get a clear image of a beautiful woman in a tight black leather unitard. Her high heels clicked on the office floor but the secretary didn't look up at it, so Harry assumed that it was normal.

Harry started to hear shouting come from the other room and was curious as to what was going on, but he did not get the chance to ask when he saw two bodies fly out the window. Harry's eyes widened as he noticed that one was his uncle and that he was leaving a huge trail of blood, signifying that something had happened and he was already dead, and would likely be dead on impact anyway. Not that Harry cared about that.

The other person was a male in the late teens to early twenties that was wearing his brown hair in a strange style that included a ponytail. He had on a brown overcoat and what looked to be brown clothes underneath his overcoat.

The man was knocked out but it didn't look like there was any damage to him, meaning that he would be able to survive if he managed to catch himself.

The secretary was now purposefully ignoring everything that happened before they both felt the building shift. Harry was the first to truly notice what was going on as he saw the building start to shift in position to the other buildings and that was the first warning that something was wrong as he noticed it start to creak and move in ways that it was not meant to.

Harry noticed the secretaries startled expression and tried to warn her of what was happening when a part of the planet that was hanging in the middle of the office shot out and embedded itself in her head.

Harry was startled at that and was shaken back to it as he was lurched off of his feet by another violent tremor in the building. He was startled and was looking for a way out when he realized just how hopeless it truly was. He was over 1000 feet up in the air with no buildings close enough to catch himself on if he jumped to try and save himself. Besides that, if they were close enough, then the buildings would be destroyed as well, meaning that option was out.

There was also no way that he would make it down in time, so, he did the only thing that he could: he curled up in a ball and hoped that he would be able to survive it if he balled some of the chairs up, but Harry knew that wouldn't work so he just rolled into a ball and laid there waiting for the inevitable.

What he didn't expect was for a blonde haired woman in a tight leather silver unitard to come crashing through the window.

She took the room in stride, looking around while she walked along. It looked like she was looking for something, but he didn't know what she would be looking for.

Harry peaked up and noticed that she was staring at him. Harry just blinked confusedly.

The woman strode over to him and bent her knees down to be eyelevel with him. "You can see me, can't you." It was phrased as a question but the tone obviously meant that it was a statement.

Harry just nodded and kept on looking at her, not daring to speak, but hoping that she would save him.

The woman looked at him with a raised eyebrow, wondering if he could even speak.

"Can you speak?" She asked before making any presumptions.

Harry nodded his head, still surprised that she was speaking to him.

The woman saw the reaction that the child was having to her and sighed, wondering what to do to get him to open up before she got an idea that was so simple she could slap herself for not thinking of before.

The woman made sure that she was facing him and had a bright smile on her face as she said, "My name is Jeanne, what's your name, little one?"

Harry, reacting more to this, stuttered out, "H-H-Harry," before continuing on more confidently and saying, "My name is Harry."

Jeanne smirked at her approach working before she continued talking, trying to figure out why he was there.

"Why are you up here alone, little one?" Jeanne asked, making sure to keep any negativity out of the statement so as to not distress him to the point he would close up.

"My uncle told me to wait out here while he was meeting with Balder." Harry said, not really caring about him.

Jeanne flashed through her mind at who she had seen in the office as well as falling out and only could think of Bayonetta, Luka, and Balder.

"Is your uncle Luka?" Jeanne asked doubtfully, knowing that Luka had come in with Bayonetta.

"Nope, my uncle's Vernon." Harry said.

Jeanne flashed through her mind quickly, trying to think about who his uncle could be while the building was crumbling.

"I'm afraid I haven't seen him." Jeanne admitted.

Harry scoffed at that, irritating her a bit, before he continued, "Course you didn't, he went out the opposite way you came in."

Jeanne realized the implications of that statement, and didn't really like them all that much.

"Did your uncle fly out the big window on that side?" Jeanne asked hesitantly, not sure she should bring up this topic, but, again, building falling down around them, not much choice but to hurry this along,

"Yup, my uncle's dead." Harry said with a bit of satisfaction.

Jeanne reared back in shock at the satisfaction that was in his voice but could not do anything about it or question it as the building gave another shake and reminded her that she needed to get out of there.

"Would you like to live, little one?" Jeanne asked.

Harry nodded, a bit annoyed about the little one comment, but not enough to risk insulting his only chance to survive.

Jeanne reached out her hand and Harry placed his hand in hers before she scooped him up in her arms and rushed out the window.

Harry quite honestly didn't know what to expect at the moment, but he certainly didn't expect to see her jump out the window.

To his surprise, instead of crashing like he feared, she managed to leap off the debris coming from the tower and use it to navigate to the ground and to a motorcycle.

She set him down and said, "you wait right here until I am done, little one, then I'll figure out what to do with you."

A few hours later

Jeanne finally came back for him, and after finding out that he didn't like his relatives, she decided to take him in, figuring that it couldn't be that hard and she had seen plenty of young children taken in and taught when she was an umbra, so she could do it.

And, as Bayonetta was still playing dead, there was no one to remind her that standards for raising children had changed and that she may not be the best person after just undoing the reprogramming done by Balder.

That was the start of Harry's life as a classy witch's assistant.

Done! I just got this game for Christmas and love it, stuck on one of the extras at the end of the game though. Cannot beat the torture attack on hard and I even have gaze of despair and eternal testimony equipped. Must have run the mission for 8 hours and can't do it.
