Dark forces once again threaten the lives of the wizards of Britain. Harry Potter as the Chief Auror must defend his family and community. Who are these dark forces at what do they want? Well Harry's wife Padma might have some answers to that. Harry will require the help of his old nemesis and now friend Draco Malfoy to defeat the dark forces and their sinister plan.

1. Chapter 1 New Beginnings

Summary: In my fanfiction, Harry gets married to Padma Patil instead of Ginny (who is married to Neville in my fiction). Draco Malfoy changes a lot over the years following the battle of Hogwarts and is now really good friends with Harry. As Harry sends off all his children to Hogwarts, a dark and sinister past of his wife comes to take what Harry holds most dear and near.

CHAPTER 1: New Beginnings

Twenty one years after the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry Potter drives his family of 5 to Kings Cross Station. Harry and his wife Padma were getting ready to send off their two boys and their youngest daughter to Hogwarts. This would be Lily's first year at Hogwarts and she couldn't have been more excited. Right as Harry finds a parking spot his old friend Neville Longbottom pulls in to the empty spot next to his. The families get out and exchange greetings, "Oh Harry, it is so good to see you again" exclaims Ginny. Harry and Ginny briefly had a thing for each other during their school years, but since Ginny was Harrys best friend's sister he decided best not to further their relationship. "We've been in and out of Egypt for the past 3 years, but now since little Tyler is starting school, Ginny thought that we best settle down for now" said Neville as he and Harry led the families to Platform 9 3/4. Once at the platform the Potters and Longbottoms met up with the Weasleys. Ron Weasley and his wife Hermione were Harry's best friends. They too were seeing off their daughter Rose, who was starting her second year and their son Hugo who was also a first year.

As Harry chatted with Ron a familiar pointy face with blonde hair walked up to them. "Come on now Weasley, don't look so happy to see me" , " ahh Malfoy, I knew I smelled something" grunted Ron as the former enemies grinned at each other. It had been nearly twenty years ago when Draco stumbled upon Harry's door in a state of intoxication. Draco tearfully admitted that he was frustrated with his life and regretted what had taken place in the past. Draco with help from Harry was able to come to terms with Ron (who was completely against it) and Hermione among many others who fought on the good side of the battle. Draco and his wife Astoria had come to see off their son Scorpius, who to the much dismay of Draco's father happened to be best friends with Harry's son Albus and was also in Gryffindor house.

As the crimson engine of Hogwarts Express pulled away from the station, Harry and Padma said good bye to their friends. On the drive back Harry had noticed that his wife was not her usual self today, "what's the matter love?" asked Harry, "Harry, it happened again", "the mark?" exclaimed Harry, "yes" whispered Padma.
