Curden cay prison
In a dark cell in Seattle a prisoner sat against the wall he was thinking about ways to escape he looked up when a guard stopped at the door.
"It's your lucky day freak you're getting transferred" the man didn't respond as the guard unlocked the cell door.
He started to approach the prisoner when he noticed his restraints were missing he spun round in alarm when a bolt of energy slammed into him and he crumpled to the floor.
The prisoner got up and walked over to the man who looked up with absolute fear "who are you".
The man looked at the guard "the names chaos" he raised his hand and black energy enveloped his hand before he punched the guard who hit the floor dead.
Chaos smirked and grabbed the guard's key pass and excited the cell.
About 11 years later
Salmon bay near Seattle
Jayden is playing around with his conduit powers he keeps them secret from the akomish tribe who took him in as his parents were murdered when he was little he looks to the sky as he remembers that day
Flash back
Jay is 7 years old the day he retrieves his powers he tries to keep them secret as not to be treated differently by
"Hey punk we heard you have some special power why don't you give us a demonstration".
Jayden tried to ignore them but they pushed him around till he snapped "just leave me alone" as he speaks flames build up around him and shoot outwards and knocks all the seniors to the floor.
He is terrified by what happened and runs from the school he doesn't stop till he makes it home.
Later he hears his parents arguing he hears his father "we should call the Dup Augustine will know how to help".
The woman replied "are you seriously saying we should send our son to Curden cay he just a child".
The man Michael faced her "did you see what he did to those kids he's a bio terrorist".
Jay heard all this and was confused and scared when a knocking at the door caught his attention his parents must have heard it to because they stopped.
Michael walked over to the door and opened it revealing Brooke Augustine and two dup troopers.
"Hi there I assume you know who I am and I hear that your son has the conduit gene I can help you now can I come in".
Michael looked to contemplate when an explosion from behind Augustine caught her attention she spun round coming face to face with chaos".
"What are you waiting for shoot him" chaos laughed "come now Augustine you cannot stop me I escaped your high security prison with ease your just lucky I didn't let the conduits out just imagine what would happen if the people knew what you did to them".
Augustine relented "you know exactly what would happen and you may have escaped from Curden cay but you're going right back there"
She snapped her fingers about 30 apcs pulled up and 30 more DUP troops surrounded chaos before she turned back to jay's parents who were watching confused.
"I will be back with you in a moment just shut your door and don't listen to this". She said.
Michael shut the door as the gunfire started jay went back into his room and out of the window he climbed onto the roof to watch the fight but stayed out of sight.
Chaos was hid behind a shield he peaked round the corner and shot a black bolt of energy that slammed into one of the troops and knocked him backwards knocking the others over too.
Chaos stepped out from cover "come on concrete queen stop sending your boys to you dirty work".
"You want me come and get me" Augustine laughed and turned into rock and charged at chaos firing concrete at him.
Who laughed and blocked the attacks before he fired a blast of his own that knocked her to the floor he walked over to Augustine "really is that all you had I at least wanted to destroy a worthy opponent".
Jay watched the fight and tried to move when his hands started to glow he tried to stay quiet but chaos looked up and with a wave of his hand shadow gripped him and pulled him onto the floor next to Augustine".
"Well looks like there's a young conduit here" "leave him alone chaos he's just a child".
Chaos laughed "well what were you and your Dup doing you were going to arrest him lock him up in Curden cay torture him turn him into one of your weapons".
Jay raised one of his hands trying to will fire to shoot at chaos but nothing happened.
Chaos laughed "oh well I will just have to kill you both he raised his hand to strike.
When a rocket shot at chaos and sent him flying backwards jay saw his mother approach she pulled him up Michael who was the one who fired the rocket said "get him inside".
Chaos got to his feet growling in rage "you dare interfere I will enjoy this".
Michael tried to fire again but chaos turned to shadow and grabbed him by the throat and snapped his neck Michael body dropped to the floor chaos walked past him "now for the boy he turned to Augustine but she had vanished as had the Dup troops.
Chaos shrugged and walked to the door and blew it open inside jay was scared "what going on what am I.
Amara looked at him "your my son and your special what you have is called a conduit gene it gives you certain abilities you inherit from me".
She was about to go on when she heard the door being blown open she turned to jay "you need to run get as far away from here as possible".
She hugged him and pushed a bag into his hand jay nodded reluctantly and ran out the back door but stopped and peaked round the corner watching the events.
Chaos entered the house "so you have to die I can't have witnesses to my plans".
He raised his hand and blasted amara dropped to the floor jay watched horrified and ran at the house chaos laughed "we will meet again boy and I will kill you".
End flash back
Back in the present Jayden wiped the tears away and held up his hand letting fire dance through his wrist as he thought of ways to take down chaos.
Meanwhile in Seattle in her office tower Augustine was with her troops who were preparing the transfer of three conduits she groaned as she didn't trust the military but at least the blame wouldn't fall on her if anything happened
After the truck pulled out Augustine turned to her troops "put the city under martial law and keep an eye out for chaos he could complicate my plans".
The troops nodded and left her office Augustine looked up and took a deep breath.
Little did she know chaos was in Seattle with a plan of his own to bring the Dup to its knees?
He laughed
