Summary: Tony tries to explain an American joke to Ziva. Drabble.

Disclaimer: I'm not sure who owns NCIS, but I promise it's not me.

Author's Note: I'm not sure what possessed me to write this. It was probably the plot bunny. By the way, a drabble is a story with one hundred words, for those of you that don't know. Make sure you just count the words in the story, not my note. Please review? Pretty please? With a McGee on top?

"I do not understand," Ziva's eyebrows scrunched together in confusion.

"It's just a joke, Ziva," Tony responded, becoming annoyed.

"It does not make sense," Ziva continued, oblivious to Tony's growing frustration. "It is not funny, it is insulting."

"I'm sure the guy didn't mean to insult you," Tony said. "He was probably just making conversation."

"By insulting my family?" Ziva's puzzlement was fueled by Tony's comment, instead of dousing it as he intended.

"Yes, Ziva," Tony, exasperated, gave up. "By insulting your family."

"That is a stupid way of 'making conversation'," Ziva said to herself.

"Your mom's stupid," Tony muttered.
