Sorry if they sound a bit OOC. I really didn't mean for them to.

Pie was walking down a sidewalk to get away from Kish and Tart, when it began to snow.

'Oh joy, snow. Why are children running outside, when they should be inside, protecting themselves from the storm? I wonder. Why aren't they running in fear instead of playing in this fatal snow storm. Any type of weather is dangerous, but snow was the worst. Rain meant floods, sun meant heat strokes, and snow meant death. Underground is the best place to live. I mean look at these…'

Pie's thought process was broken by an outburst. "Hey! Let's hit that funny-looking guy!" Pai soon felt something cold hit his cheek. He picked it up, saw what it was and was appalled.

'They threw it at me! Do they want me to die? These humans are so peculiar. I wonder how they ever survive. This species makes no sense whatsoever.'

Not too far away, Lettuce was getting her coat, mittens, hat, and boots on. She ran outside. Oh, how she loved the snow.

'What should I do today? Should I make a snowman? Pudding would know what to do. I'll go spend the day with her then.'

Lettuce started walking towards Pudding's house. She was almost there when she bumped into someone. "Gomennasai."

"No, I'm sorry, Lettuce-san." he said.

"P-pai-san?" she stuttered, "W-what are you doing here?"

"I needed to get away from Kish and Tart." Pie explained, "What about you, Lettuce-san?"

"I love the snow." she said, eyes sparkling, "It's wonderful."

"It's fatal." Pie commented, "I wonder why you humans don't understand that."

"Well," Lettuce tried to explain, "I'm guessing that the weather where you're from is quite disastrous." Pie nodded in agreement and Lettuce continued, "Well, you see, here it isn't as bad. It only snows a few centimeters at a time. So, we just enjoy the snow."

"How?" Pie inquired.

"Well, we make things with it, play with it, have fun." Lettuce continued smiling, a bit unsure.

"What do you make?" Pie questioned.

"Snowmen, snowballs, snow angels, many different things." Lettuce replied happily.

"Snowballs?" Pie asked.

"Yes, you pack the snow together into a ball and throw it." Lettuce answered.

"So that's why they threw snow at me." he said, pointing towards the two boys that threw the snowball at him.

"Hanacha-san! Lucha-san!" she called to the boys.

"Hai!" they replied happily.

"Where are your siblings?" she asked.

"Onee-chan made hot cocoa. They're inside, but Hanacha and Lucha stayed out here." Hanacha answered.

"You know them?" Pie questioned.

"Hai." Lettuce stated, "They're two of Pudding-san's siblings. Let's go make a snowman!" Lettuce explained what a snowman was and how to make one. They built a large snowman together.

"It looks really good!" Lettuce exclaimed, "Arigatou Pie-san!"

"You're welcome." Pie replied, "What else is there to do, Lettuce-san?"

"We could make snow angels." she suggested. Pie agreed and they went to make snow angels. "Just lay down and move your arms and legs back and forth." Lettuce instructed.

"How idiotic." Pie commented, but did as she said anyway.

"Do you see now why the snow is wonderful, Pie-san?" Lettuce asked.

"Hai." Pie replied, "I never would have guessed that something so fearful could be wonderful."

"It's also so beautiful." Lettuce sighed happily.

"Hai." Pie agreed, "So are you."
