Warren sat in the library, reading Uglies By: Scott Westerfeld.

He looked up to see a girl sitting at one of the tables.

Her brown hair, framed her face, her blue eyes focused on her homework. Books were spread out all around her. Then he realized, she seemed to be fading away. She vanished completely, which startled him. He didn't know her name, but she was usually always there when he came in at this time.

Later he saw her again. She was standing, in front of her open locker, pulling down some books, and then she started to fade away again.

He got to Mad Science, and there she was again; sitting in the front desk writing down the assignments, off the board.

Warren later decided that he would talk to Principle Powers.

When he walked into the front office, he stopped, on the front desk, was a picture, of a girl that had brown hair that framed her face and focused blue eyes. She was wearing a light blue two layered skirt and a white form fitting shirt, with blue ¾ sleeves. She was sitting on a swing, smiling up at the camera, her bare feet playing in the green grass.

"That was Kelly Summers," came Principle Powers Voice.

"What happened to her?" Warren asked.

"She…was found dead in Maxville's park," she answered sadly.

"She was the most promised student here," Principle Powers said with a sigh.

Goodbye Norma Jean

Warren walked to Kelly's grave. He was surprised to see Kelly standing there. Though she was close to vanishing. She vanished before he got to the grave.

He bent down and looked at the grave, something was missing.

Where was the 'she'll be missed' crap.

Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to hold yourself
While those around you crawled
They crawled out of the woodwork
And they whispered into your brain
They set you on the treadmill
And they made you change your name

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did

Loneliness was tough
The toughest role you ever played
Hollywood created a superstar
And pain was the price you paid
Even when you died
Oh the press still hounded you
All the papers had to say
Was that Marilyn was found in the nude

Warren ran his hands threw his long hair, as he sat on a bench in the park. He looked up to see her smiling at him. Her feet bare in the green grass, wearing a short cream color dress that had crystals sewn into it. Her long brown hair blew in the imaginary wind. She gave a small laugh and her hand flew to her face.

"Why are you here? What do you want from me?" Warren begged her.

"I want nothing Warren," her voice flowed like water, it was soft and caring and beautiful.

"WAIT!" he called as the wind started to pick her up. She turned her head and gave him a smile before letting the wind carry her away.

Goodbye Norma Jean
From the young man in the 22nd row
Who sees you as something as more than sexual
More than just our Marilyn Monroe

Warren walked to the graveyard, carrying two tools in his hand. When he arrived at her grave, he got to work. He got up and ran when the caretaker came out to see who was causing all the noise.

When everything appeared normal, he left, but if he'd looked close enough he would have seen a big difference.
