(this takes place after the Buffy series and the Angel series are ended.)

One lone girl walked briskly through the park, her blond hair fluttering under her hat. She was easy prey for the vampire that had been stalking her since she left the well lit street. He crept up silently behind her and reached out to grab her shoulder.

Imagine his surprise when the cute blond grabbed his hand and neatly flipped him over her shoulder.

"They always fall for the defenseless woman trick," the girl commented, pulling out a stake. But before she could stab him, she was tackled from behind. Rolling to her feet, she turned to see another vampire grinning eerily at her.

"That's why we travel in groups now." He spun around, kicking out his leg. The girl dodged the blow and dropped to the ground, whipping her leg around to knock him off his feet. She had forgotten about the other vampire who came up behind her and grabbed her arms, pinning them behind her.

"Lunch," the vampire said to his friend as he stood. The second vampire laughed and then gasped before turning to dust. Another woman with dark hair stood behind him, retracting her stake.

"No thanks," the blond breathed, wrenching her arm out of the vampires grasp and driving her elbow into his stomach. When he bowed over in pain, she twisted around and drove her stake home.

"We already ate."

The dark haired girl raised her eyebrow as she looked at the blond - a mirror image of her own face.

"You would have gotten them both faster if you didn't waste time with that pointless banter."

"Oh come on sis, not everything has to be so wham, bam, thank you Slayer." The blond said with a grin.

"That only works if you are the Slayer - which neither of you are." Both girls turned to the bleach blond man who spoke from where he was leaning against a tree.

"Joy is right, less chit chat and more dusting. Nice flip though, Kendra."

"So can we call it a night Spike? I have a final tomorrow." Joy asked, also stowing her stake away. "Fine with me. I like the hair by the way. Tired of being mistaken for your sister, eh pet?" Joy grinned.

"I like to shock people. Alec fell of his chair when he saw it. Anyways, goodnight Spike." Spike nodded and watched as the twin girls linked arms and strode away. Night and Day they were at age 18. Kendra reminded him most of Buffy when she was a high school student. Joy was quieter, but had Buffy's killer instincts better honed.

Spike wandered into the cemetery, where he went every night. He reached into his duster and pulled out a single daisy. Coming to a specific headstone, he knelt and set the flower on the grave. "Your girls are doing well, love. I wish I could have kept them from this life, but you know how it is. Sometimes destiny's a bitch." Spike stood and put his hand on the gravestone. "Only destiny would have a Slayer survive the worst calamities to the world only to die bringing life into he world."

"I have no regrets." Spike looked over to see Buffy standing before him. She looked exactly the way he remembered her, even to the little tilt of her head as she looked at him.

"And you are taking care of my daughters just fine. They are healthy, they have lives away from this world, and they know that they are loved. Thats what matters."

"They were robbed of their mother." Spike spat bitterly. Buffy walked closer and put her hand on his cheek. "Only in body. I will always be with them. As I am with you."

Spike's head snapped up, his hand still on the gravestone. He was alone. He dropped his hand to his side and straightened before turning and striding away. Behind him, the single daisy fluttered in the breeze over the grave of Buffy Anne Summers.
