Kaiba's Pro Tag Team Tournament

What happens when Jaden needs a tag partner for a Pro Dueling Tag Team Tournament? Jaden have one person in mind to be his tag partner because they did great as a team at the Pair Duel Tournament. Alexis is also competing in the Pro Dueling Tag Team Tournament but Alexis have one problem she doesn't have a partner. Will Both Jaden and Alexis found a partner for the tournament?

Chapter 1 Finding a Tag Team Partner

Jaden is living in Domino City after he graduated from Duel Academy. Jaden was sitting on a bench at the park. When Jaden happens to look up to see someone that he have not seen in forever. Jaden ran to catch up with his old friend. Alexis turned around to see Jaden Yuki running at her Jaden bumped into her and they both fell to the ground. Jaden got up and helped Alexis up and says, "I am sorry Lex, I did not meant to run you over."

Alexis smiles and says "I been through worse like being trapped in the shadow realm, being control by some crazy guy, or being sent to the stars."

Jaden and Alexis started laughing. Jaden then ask "What brings you to Domino City?"

Alexis says "Well Kaiba's Pro Tag Team Tournament."

Jaden smiles and ask "Well I was wondering would you like to be my partner for the tournament?"

Alexis smiles and says, "I was hoping that you would ask me."

Jaden says, "Would you like to go to lunch with me?" "We can get our decks ready for the tournament."

Alexis says, "Fine with me I just go into town so I am going need to found somewhere to stay later.

Jaden says, "You don't need to found somewhere to stay because you already have a spot to stay."

Alexis asked, "What do you mean I have a place to stay?"

Jaden smiles and says, "You are going to stay with me."

Alexis smiles and says "Fine with me and I bet you would not take no for an answer."

Jaden and Alexis headed off to the restaurant. When they arrived at the restaurant and they waited to be seated.

The waiter asked, "What would you like guys like to drink?"

Jaden says, "I will take a Pepsi."

Alexis says "I will take the same."

The waiter looks at Jaden and asks, "Are you Jaden Yuki?"

Jaden says "Yes I am."

The waiter put an envelope in front of Jaden then walked off to get them their drinks. Jaden open the envelope to found a card inside it was Elemental Hero Cyber Burstinatrix .

Jaden says "Now this is just weird."

Alexis ask "What do you mean?"

Jaden handed the card to Alexis for her to see the card.

Alexis looked at the card and says, "Sounds like someone knew we were going to be entering the tournament together."

The waiter returns with their Pepsis and got a pad out to take their order.

Alexis order the bacon cheeseburger and Jaden order the shrimp. Jaden asked "Um who gave you the envelope?"

The waiter says, "He was a rather big guy and ask if we served grilled cheese."

Jaden and Alexis look at each other and says "Yep that sounds like Chumley."

The waiter left to put in their order.

Alexis ask "So Jay what have you been up to since you graduated from Duel Academy?"

Jaden says, "You know me just chilling."

Alexis smiles and says, "You never change Jay."

Jaden say "I have change if you remember there is a duel spirit living in me now."

Alexis and Jaden both chuckle at the comment that Jaden has just made when their waiter comes and gives them their food. Not much talking is being done the two friends ate in silence. Once they finish the meal the waiter came around with the check. Jaden looked at the bill and paid the waiter. Alexis and Jaden headed back to Jaden's apartment. Alexis was surprise how clean Jaden's apartment was compare to the way his dorm was back at Duel Academy.

Alexis ask "Who else do you think is going to be competing in the tournament?"

Jaden says, "I bet all of our best friends will show up."

Alexis smiles and ask "Jay do you want to have a duel for old time?"

Jaden smiles and says, "Get your game on!"

Jaden and Alexis activated their duel disks and drew their cards.

Jaden says "Ladies first Alexis."

Alexis summons and Cyber Petit Angel and says, "Now I activate Cyber Petit Angel's effect." "I can add one Machine Angel Ritual to my hand."

Alexis then activated the spell card scapegoats. Alexis then activated Machine Angel Ritual and use her 4 sheep tokens and Cyber Petit Angel to ritual summoned Cyber Angel Benten. Alexis set one face down (Hallowed Life Barrier)

Alexis says, "I end my turn."

Jaden drew his card and then activated the spell card Polymerization to fuse Elemental Hero Avian and Elemental hero Burstinitrix to summon Elemental Hero Flame Wingman.

Jaden says "I will attack your Cyber Angel Benten with Elemental Hero Flame wing man."

Alexis: 3,700

Jaden says "Now time for Elemental Hero Flame Wingman effect."

Alexis says Sorry Jay I activate my facedown Hallowed life Barrier by discarding 1 card I can negate the effect of Flame wingman. Jaden played two facedown cards (Hero Barrier and Hero signal)

Alexis drew and activated the spell cards Pot of Greed and Polymerization and fuse Etoile Cyber and Blade Skater to summon Cyber Blader. Alexis then activate the equip spell fusion weapon.

Cyber Blader atk 3,500 def 2,300

Alexis says, "I attack your Elemental Hero Flame Wingman with Cyber Blader."

Jaden says "Lex I activate my facedown Hero Barrier. When I have 1 Elemental hero on my field I can negate your attack."

Alexis ended her turn. Jaden activated the field spell fusion gate and fuse Sparkman and Clayman to summon Elemental Hero Thunder giant. Jaden activated Thunder Giant's effect and destroyed Cyber Blader.

Jaden says "I attack you directly with Elemental Hero Flame Wingman and Elemental Thunder Giant." Jaden smiles and hit his signature pose and says, "That's game."
