What if Ellis & Thatcher had twins before Meredith? This is their story. Alex is dealing with coming to terms of his impending Parenthood as his and Avah's twins due date looms closer. Meanwhile Mark deals with the repercussion when his and ex-wife Addison's daughter shows up at the hospital with a secret and his relationship with Lexie. Season 6 AU. MerDer, Avlex, Maddison, Slexie

Hi, this is going to be a rewrite of my old story Fools In Love with many changes:

1. Meredith has two siblings. They are twins named Liam and his twin sister Jessica "Jess". The twins are five years older.

2. (Addie's twin) Avah is having Alex's babies not Derek's. They still have their two daughters Evangeline and Piper.

3. Avah and Derek used to be married but they got a divorce in S3 as they worked on their marriage. He left because he got a call from Richard of an offer he couldn't refuse and they fought so he left her and the girls.

4. Jess had a baby in college with her husband and they got married in med school sometime before Ellis was diagnosed. They have a teenager named Sarah and a baby girl named Lucy.

5. Addison and Mark also got divorced in S3 but at the very end. They have Emma who was given up for adoption and a little boy named Steven.

6. Izzie never got sick, went crazy, or left.

8. George is not dead.

7. Gizzie are married and they had a double wedding with MerDer.

8. Liam has a little girl named Peyton.

9. Mallie never hooked-up but they are friends.

10. Meredith and Jess want a relationship with Thatcher but Liam doesn't, especially after he abandoned them: leaving them with an emotionally abusive Ellis and started a new family.

11. No O'Callie because I hate them.

The story is going to be called "When You Love Somebody" and is sent in 6x10 just like FSIL.

Couples are - MerDer, Avlex, Maddison, Slexie, Crowen, Calzona, Gizzie. Mentions of Avrek, Callica, Dizzie, and Burktina.

On a side note: I don't like that Derek left Avah like that but it's the best reason as neither one cheated when he met Mer.

So, how do you think of the plot? Want me to rewrite it like this? And do any of you have any ideas of how I should start? I'm so bad at first chapters. Also what should the name of Jess's husband be?

Another side note: anybody watching the current season too? I miss McDreamy so much each day but there's other couples in the show to enjoy and Meredith needs to move on. But while I'm neutral about Merthan, I'll always have MerDer in my heart. They were the OG couple since the beginning but Patrick wanted to leave the show and it was the only way they could get him off without breaking them up. It's painful, yes and Mer will never love another man like Derek but I understand what they did what they did. I still don't like it to this day, but still.

Btw rewatching11x04 and Ellis & Webber became my favorite couple ever. Weird , huh?
