MAX P.O.V

Fang was taking me to dinner and a movie, original I know but what do you expect? He only asked me today. Even though it's not that big a deal I'm still really nervous. We were in his car driving to the theatre now.

As we were driving I looked over at him. I didn't want to be anywhere else. I didn't want to go home not now, not ever. He looked at me and smirked which if I'm honest is his version of a full-blown smile. I couldn't help but smile too.

I looked outside the window. In the city there were always huge, glittering lights and so much noise you wonder why you're not deaf. Everywhere there were people and cars and music, and I loved it all. Even though certain people A.K.A my family don't love me.

because it's not my home, it's their home and I'm welcome no more.

Just as I was thinking that the car swerved and a huge force hit my stomach. There was a deafening car horn and I saw a huge truck barreling into us.

"Fang!" I screamed. This couldn't be happening, not to us. "Max!" Fang called out, I swear I heard his voice crack. I had tears streaming done my face as the blinding headlights got ever closer.

And if a ten~ton truck
kills the both of us

All I was thinking was how at least I could die with him at my side. I didn't know what to do so I reached beside me and grasped fangs arm. Then the unstoppable lights that didn't even slow down hit us, and I was in unimaginable pain. I looked beside me and I could tell Fang was already dead.
Let it be me and not him, I'm going to die anyway at least let him live!
That's when I blacked out.
