Author's Note: This is just a weird little fic I through together. I was
sitting here, being moody and I decided to write it. The story is mine,
but the characters are not. I'm not going to tell you who exactly this is
about, but I've laid a few clues you should be able to follow. Please
review, I'm anxious to hear your responses, be they good or bad. Thank
You.
I will remember you.
I will remember the way your hair framed your delicate face and the way your hair shrouded your most jarring feature: Your eyes.
I will remember the way your eyes would slice my soul, the way they would brake my heart and make me fall in love with you time and again. The way they commanded my utmost respect. The way the could show so much love and reversely so much pain. The way you concealed your tears from the world, only allowing a handful of people to ever see your pain.
I will always remember the first and last time I saw your eyes. The first showing excitement and happiness. And the final showing hardness and exhaustion. Between them you lost the familiar twinkle in your eyes that always distinguished you from others. Although anyone could understand why.
I will remember your face. The face I spent hours looking at admiring, usually unbeknownst to you. The face that hardened over the years, the face that towards the end stopped showing any emotion whatsoever.
I will remember your mouth. What came out of it controlled the lives of many. Kind words were frequently spewed from it as well as curses.
I will remember your hands, strong and sturdy. Hands that comforted, hands that restrained, hands that destroyed, hands that showed love.
I will remember your body, hardened by the sport you loved and the fact that you needed to be in physically fit in order to survive. Shaped by endless hours of practice, from the former and the latter.
I will remember your mind, quick and sharp. Some may have been smarter than you in terms of books, but in terms of the real world, you ran circles around them. Your decisions were always made quickly though they were never rash.
I will remember your spirit. Kind and gentle, but just the same forceful and hard if required.
I will remember you. I'm not quite sure what I believe in, but I hope that someday we'll meet again. Whether or not we're aware of it is of little importance.
I still miss you.
And I will always remember you.
