Cagalli leaned against Strike's broken body, as tears started pouring from her eyes. Kira had been special, and now she would never see him again. Part of her hated Athrun, yet another part of her hated herself for not being able to do anything to avenge Kira.
She remembered the stupid idiot that pushed her on an elevator. She remembered a crying boy who couldn't get over the fact he couldn't save people. She remembered the selfless boy who protected her, even as they were lead to the enemy's house. She remembered the smile and the good byes. The laughter. She remembered everything.
Cagalli would do anything to be able to hug Kira again. But when a person dies, they are gone for good. So all she could do, was sit and cry next to the Gundam he spent so much time in.
