Hey people! This was something I really wanted to make, I just never had the means to do it. Please enjoy!

They met during recess of the first day of second grade.
Diana Prince - despite being new - was naturally a social butterfly and had no trouble making friends. Her positive attitude and friendly disposition attracted nearly everyone to her. She seemed to always wear a bright, joyous smile on her face at all time, infecting her peers with the same kind of happiness. Even at a young age, it was clear that she was meant to inspire everyone around her.
Then there was Bruce Wayne.
Unlike Diana, Bruce kept to himself. He hadn't made an attempt to approach anyone on the bus, hadn't sat with anyone during lunch, and was currently sitting under the large oak tree that happened to shade a secluded area of the playground. He observed his schoolmates from afar, not showing any interest to join them in their activities.
"Hi there!"
Apparently someone couldn't take a hint.
Bruce turned his attention upwards only to come face to face with the princess, as he so eloquently names her in his head. "What do you want?" he asked bluntly.
If Diana was offended by his rudeness, she didn't show it as she plopped herself down next to him. "I wanna know your name, silly!" She held her hand out. "I'm Diana!"
He hesitantly took it as his mother had taught him to do when he met new people. "Bruce," he responded simply.
She beamed at him. "Nice to meet you Bruce! I like your watch."
Bruce's eyes wandered to his simple black watch fastened onto his left wrist. "Thanks. I like your..." He searched for something to compliment her back on. His mother said that was the polite thing to do when someone said something nice about you. "...necklace."
Diana's smile only seemed to get brighter. "Thank you! You wanna be friends?"
He was quiet for a moment, weighing his options. There wouldn't be any harm in being friends with her, right? It also might get his mother to stop imploring him to make friends. "Okay."
"Yay!"
Bruce winced. Her constantly upbeat energy was going to take some time to get used to.

I'm really bad at writing kids. Please review and tell me what you think! Bye!
