The mission was finally over it was a tough battle against the elements which is a group of villains with the powers of the elements. The team had finally made it back to mount justice all of them were pretty tired so everyone went to their respective rooms to rest for the night. The following morning red tornado called the team to the main hall "hello young ones I am pleased to announce you have a new teammate". Robin blurts out "who is it?" "Red tornado responses "it is a boy by the name of dragon"soon after dragon made his entrance and bowed respectfully then stood up "my name is dragon my real name is genesis" aqua lad being the team leader he wasn't to thrilled at the idea but he was still friendly toward dragon. Dragon looked around his new home "this is a nice place" he then laid his eyes upon aqua lad instantly blushing at the sight of him he quickly turned away to avoid being seen.
"So what's your power" kid flash speaks out clearing the silence that had just filled the room. Dragon responds "I can produced and manipulate different forms of fire for example my blue flames can freeze opponents my green flames can temporarily paralyze the opponent" Artemis joins in "that's pretty cool". A few hours went by Megan had just finished cooking a meal in honor of their new teammate everyone was eating and conversing except kaldur who was lost in his thoughts thinking about the look he received from dragon. Kaldur thinks to himself " no one has looked at me like that since tula especially not another male" strangely aqua lad was thinking about dragon the way he would with tula he didn't really understand why but he knew the thoughts about dragon were sexual thoughts. The team then went to their respective rooms to rest for the night.
A week later everyone but dragon and kaldur were out doing things Megan and Artemis were shopping along with super boy, Robin was with the batman, and wally was with his family. Dragon who was sitting at the table in the main hall he was waiting for kaldur to tell him about the feelings he thinks he has for him shortly after he sat down aqua lad made his way to the main hall only to see dragon by his lonesome he spoke out" where is everyone?" Dragon looks up and saw aqua lad and a smile blew on his face " gone for now now" aqua lad noticed his smile and returned the smile back to him. Kaldur sat down 1 chair away from dragon the silence between them was broken when dragon looks slightly to the ground and says" hey can I tell you something" aqua lad had a feeling he knew what it was but he simply says" yes" he then noticed himself gazing deeply in dragon's eyes.
