(A/N): Hey guys! I know I haven't written anything in awhile but The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has given me some Zelink inspirtion :D So wish me luck on this oneshot! P.S. I also wanna write a chaptered story but I want a bit more time to thnk of an idea so I can write a really good story AND be able to finish it -.- speaking of which... my, uh, Phinbella story is ending there... along with my extreme love for the tv show. and please mind any spelling errors... my pc keyboard is being a retard and i might not have that many words spelt right... but i will definatly try to read over everything and get it right ^_^. ZeLink: What If..?

Zelda's POV

I could feel the wind blowing softly through my hair. My loftwing's wings flapping gently making the softest noise on this beautiful day. My best friend, as some may say, Link was right beside me riding smoothly on his crimson loftwing. We had just finished the Wing Ceremony together and I had the most amazing time! Being with Link, it just felt so... right. As if there was no one else in the world that I should be with... only him. I always felt so much better when I was with him. I liked Link... alot. He was a piece of my puzzle that I needed to be complete. One more piece was missing though...

"...Link? Hey, Link!" I called out to him. He turned his head to face me.

"Yeah, Zel?" Zel... It had a lovely ring to it.

"Today was amazing. Watching you win the race and performing the ritual together... I'll always remember this." He had the cutest astonished look on his face. "It really was wonderful."

"I had an amazing time too." He said, beaming from ear to ear. But I still had to tell him... had to hear his response.

"You know... Link..." I started, "There's something i've been meaning to talk to you about..." He smiled and it gave me this warm feeling of comfort... or maybe affection.

"For awhile now I've been... feeling something more between us..." Link raised an eyebrow in confusion towards my statement.

"I don't know how to explain it exactly but i think..." I looked up at him and melted. He was so... perfect. What was I thinking. We would always be friends, nothing more."

"Nevermind." I murmmerd as I dropped my head in defeat. I couldn't look him in the eye without my face resembling a tomato.

"No... I know how you feel." I heard him say. Well it was his voice but it couldn't possibly be him. I looked up just to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

"I have felt the same way for a long time now, how could I not fall for a smart, beautiful, fun-loving girl like you." Link continued. I was shocked... could this be true?

"And today was one of the most extrordinary days I have ever lived, because I spent so much time with you." Link then smiled the most beautiful smile I think I have ever seen in my whole life. I would have said 'I love you', but I couldn't get the words out of my throat. I went to go jump and hug him, but I accidentaly slipped and our noses were almost touching, so I leaned in a little more and pressed my lips softly against his. I can honestly say that it was the most amazing feeling I have ever felt in my life. And I found the missing piece to complete my puzzle.
