Zelda was with my collage enemy in the left front of the bar.
Narrowing my eyes I turned to my band and they nodded to me, for it was almost time to sing.
It was somewhat painful and being so nervous was not helping!
We had broken up after a fight over money and I was hurt that she had moved on so quickly.
We took our place's and I stud in front of the microphone to get ready to sing.
Coffing I waited for everyone to shut up and the speaker finally said our band name.
I thought about how I used to sing to her… but this would just tear me apart.
Once the lights went dim and the cur tons opened up all eyes were on me…
I started to sing with slight hesitation.
Placing a smile at the perfect event…
I tried to forget that she was looking at me as I sang.

Glancing over to where she was I could see she was smiling at me…

As I finished the song, Zelda jumped up from her seat, leaving her new boyish friend sitting where he was.
It was one of those sappy moments where all was perfect.
I jumped from the stage and she ran into my arms with a big hug.
