"Raaah Jocktopus is hitting you now!" Jocktopus shrieked as he wailed on Oscar. Bea came up as she was going to her locker and immediately pulled Oscar away from Jocktopus.

"Leave him alone, Jocktopus!" Bea exclaimed while Oscar cowered behind Bea, pushing against the lockers.

"Aw, Oscar's little girlfriend is here to protect him!" Pihranica teased as she stood by Jocktopus. The two snickered together.

"Just leave him alone, is that so hard to ask?" Bea said. Jocktopus and Pihranica just laughed more and swam away. Bea helped Oscar up and led him to her locker where she kept a little tube of antiseptic and a Band-Aid for two for just the occasion. She opened her locker door and started rubbing the antiseptic on his numerous cuts. It was awkwardly silent.

"So, um, did you notice that Pihranica called you my girlfriend?" Oscar asked nervously as he winced at the sting of the antiseptic on his cuts.

"Oh, I've gotten that from a lot of people before. It doesn't really bother me anymore."

"It doesn't?" Oscar asked with a smile.

"Yeah, sure." Bea answered, putting a few band aids over his cuts. It was silent for a few moments longer as Bea finished bandaging him.

"You'd think he'd be a little more warm-spirited considering it's the holidays…" Bea said as they began to walk home (since it was after school).

"Crime doesn't take a holiday…" Oscar said with a sigh. Suddenly, as they walked through the front door of Oscar and Milo's home, Bea noticed something small and green hanging from the ceiling.

"Oh, hey look, Milo must have put up mistletoe! How cute!" Bea then looked over to Oscar and got silent for a moment. Oscar blushed heavily.

"O-oh, so he did…"

So as not to disrupt holiday traditions, Bea leaned in and gave Oscar a kiss on the cheek. Suddenly, on instinct that he didn't know he had, Oscar grabbed Bea's cheeks and planted a kiss on her lips. The bold action surprised Bea, but she played along; it wasn't like she didn't like it. It took a lack of oxygen to get them to separate.

"Merry Christmas, I guess…" Bea giggled. Oscar sighed in delight.

So this started out as a one-shot about fixin' Oscar's cuts and bruises but it turned into a Christmas one-shot…oops…anyways, revieww~!
