AN: Hey! I'm new to the writing-Naruto-fic scene, but not new to the FFn scene so any mistakes are my own. There are no pairings here, but if you want to think of it as a ship!fic then be my guest. When writing I was in the mindset of strong women defending their closest friends in a kinda funny (kinda terrifying) way.
Disclaimer: If I owned Naruto, I wouldn't be signing college loans and preparing to drown in them post-higher education. And our leading ladies would play a bigger part.
When a fellow shinobi whispers loudly about the Akimichi clan being "useless fat asses" it isn't Chouji who goes on a tantrum, throttling the smug gossipers.
It is a flash of purple and blonde, and the three shinobi twice her size to pry her lithe hands from his throat as she screams curses that would make the ero-sennin blush.
When a kunoichi mocks Aburame Shino's kikaichu, wondering aloud how anyone in his clan is able to find wives, she is startled when Hyuuga Hinata stumbles into her right shoulder. The Hyuuga looks back with an apologetic smile that does not quite reach her white eyes.
Later on the same afternoon the kunoichi tries to train, but finds not a single jutsu in her arsenal she's able to execute. She finds out after a trip to the medical center that the tenketsu of her right arm have been shut off. The medic nin treating her calls for the Hyuuga they have on call to come and open them, knowing it would take a lot less energy for one of their clan to complete the healing.
This time, as her fingers glow blue, the smile reaches the Hyuuga's Byakugan-activated eyes.
When someone scoffs at Lee's exuberance, and their name is not Neji or someone else from the Rookie 9, they find a senbon sticking out of training post they had been leaning against.
It was uncomfortably close to an extremely private area between their legs. When he looks up he sees a kunoichi spinning an identical senbon between her fingers a smile that's somehow sweet and homicidal at the same time.
When a pair of shinobi hiss about the kyuubi brat and how he shouldn't be allowed to be a Konoha shinobi, they are some of the last holdouts on Team Anti-Naruto, they hear a Ch'ya and the ground beneath crumbling as they scramble to keep from falling into a pit of debris.
They do not succeed and it takes them three days to recuperate.
And when they face Tsunade's glare as she hands them their fifth D-rank pet retrieval mission, which is unheard of for two jonin, they decide to keep their thoughts to themselves. As they walk out of the Godaime's office they come face to face with a pink-haired kunoichi with an aura that could terrify Orochimaru.
To avoid any confusion in order the kunoichi are Ino, Hinata, Tenten, and Sakura. Sorry if there was any mistakes when it comes to the wording and please let me know if something is wrong.
