A/N: this fiction can to me as I was in my room being absolutely bored, amazing what can come from boredom.
Just so as you all know I don't own anything as amazing as this, the idea and everything that goes with it belongs to Garth Nix.
Someone new entirely
People couldn't believe it, he wasn't Abhorsen – in – Waiting he was a Wallmaker.
He knew from the beginning that he wasn't who everyone said he was. The endless pressure gone because he was going to school across the Wall away from everyone that cared about the tittle was gone. He could be Sam, Prince Sam unfortunately to the teachers at school. None the less, he could be who he wanted to be.
When he had found out he wasn't Abhorsen - in - Waiting he had been filled with mixed emotions. Not only to find out he had an aunt but also that she had taken away "his destiny" he was happy, relieved also but under all that he was sad, because what was he suppose to do now?
He had nothing any more. He had let everyone down. If only he had paid more attention, was all he could think about: but would it have made any difference in the grand scheme of things. No. it wouldn't.
Having a knack for making and fixing things certainly came in handy at the right time. He was one from a long line of men and women of Wallmakers. The ones who had created the Wall to protect the two kingdoms, and keep one safely out of harms way.
Now his destiny had chosen him he didn't know where it would lead, only time, faith and a lot of patience was going to answer that one question. The thing was it didn't scare him now. Looking down at his waistcoat he smiled to himself knowing that one-day he would be called upon to do something for the greater good.
When that was going to happen or if he could do it, well only time will tell you that: and what happened then is another tale entirely.
A/N: I hope you all liked what you read. I'm not sure whether to make this a one shot or have a chapter on each of the main characters from their point of view, from the last book "Abhorsen"
Send me your thoughts and what you though of the whole fiction entirely.
