Heya guys! It's me ^o^ *Ducks Grell's chainsaw!* O.O Okay! This was English home work about the character Len Tao! Okay!? Poetry is not my strong point! Is based on the fight seen in episode 20 in the ANIME! So, enjoy! Reviews are appreciated! I don't mind constructive feed back! Sooooooooo yeah!
The war you lost,
On the Barren battle field you stand,
your heliotrope hair is whipped up by the force from the fight,
Your arrogant smirk as you goad the enemy
hides your insecurities.
Your pride,
your ego,
they hide the fear that you feel.
Masked so perfectly, you hide them so, so well,
but the eyes, your golden cat-like eyes,
are the windows to the soul.
Your fears and doubts lay dormant in your heart.
They keep you chained
they keep you bound.
The last chance you have to prove your worth
is almost snatched from under your feet.
You've won many battles and he; so few.
You do not realise his secret,
it scares you.
You external fights have left you victorious,
blood caking your trembling hands,
as you lose another piece of your broken soul,
to the internal battles you face each day.
Neglected for so long,
pressured to be the best,
shown so little love, your constantly afraid.
Afraid to trust others,
as hate is imbedded in your heart,
you fear interacting with others,
as they will tear down your perfectly constructed
mental barrier you created to protect yourself.
But yet now, here,
you stand.
Your desperation obvious in your topaz eyes.
You freeze, your unsure
because this has never happened
before him.
Before the boy that invaded your life,
and so you clutch at straws,
trying so hard to hide
this 'weakness' you have discovered.
Your losing.
Both inside and out.
You try to cling to your composure,
you try to find reason in why this is happening,
but your stoic mask slips slightly,
crevices appear.
The price of moulding a boy so young,
into the perfect killing machine.
Your perfect posture slackens,
your breathe in ragged pants
your mind, your fantasy, your delusion
starts to come undone.
You stand there dazed,
as if in a trance.
And now, like the sun has come out,
It's obvious for all to see:
You've lost the game,
You've lost the war,
And now standing here on the battlefield
You crumble now, forever more
