I know it's not Christmas, or even close to it, but I absolutely LOVE this prompt, and I had to do it.
Harry's POV
It was Christmas time at Hogwarts. Harry didn't like this time of year, he never really had a family to spend it with. Even though Ron and Hermione insisted he go to the Weasley's with them, he figured he shouldn't get involved with Ginny, she was terribly upset with Harry and still hasn't acknowledged his existence, much less talked to him, since they broke up. This was going to be a long holiday.
Draco's POV
Draco was bland around Christmas. He always got so many expensive presents, but never got to spend time with his family. Along with that the presents never meant anything. His parents only wanted him to be happy so that, being the only heir, create more heirs. He hadn't even told them he was gay. And not just that, gay for Potter. He had realized when they brewed Amortentia in potions. He smelled fresh grass and treacle tart.
Harry's POV
Harry walked the grounds in the snow. The bitter cold bit into his skin and the frozen wind pieced his clothes. He had lost his scarf so he was practically an icicle, but that was better than in the castle. He climbed one of the lonely, short trees near the lake and sat down. He was enjoying the silence when he heard footsteps.
Draco's POV
Draco was walking the grounds, feeling rather toasty in his warm scarf. He was walking by the lake, which was completely frozen over, only to see Potter, without a scarf. He was visibly shaking and turning pink in the face. Draco walked over to him. "Oi Potter!" He turned from his spot in the tree, the content look on his face changing to suppose as he did so. "Your gonna catch cold you know. Why aren't you wearing a scarf?" " What do you care Malfoy?" He got down from the tree and faced him. "I bet you'd like to know, Potter." Before Potter could speak, Draco took his scarf of and put it around Potter's neck. "Keep it till you get some common sense back and get a scarf of your own. Draco started walking back to the castle, leaving a dumbfounded Potter behind him.
Harry's POV
Harry was amazed, not only phat Malfoy been nice to him, but he had giving him his scarf. Harry's cheeks were now pink for a completely different reason.
He went back to the castle for dinner, cautious of the small white and green plants above doorways. Dumbledore placed them there. The mistletoe was enchanted to create a barrier around any two people walking under at the same time. It would let them go until the kissed. Full on. In the lip area. So Harry was constantly looking up. As he entered the great hall he stopped in the doorway. Christmas at hogwarts always brought a beautiful sight to the great hall. Malfoy entered a moment later, only to find he could go further than and inch from the door. Harry looked up, and to his misfortune, there sat a mistletoe, its white berries taunting him from above.
Draco's POV
Draco groaned aloud. He had not problem with kissing Potter, or even snogging him, he had a problem with Potter not feeling the same. So instead of fighting, Draco got it over with. He want up to Potter and pushed him against the door frame, and kissed him. Then...
He kissed back.
