Not a Mirror
I stared in front of me;
At my face;
But it was not my reflection that stared back;
Different yet the same;
Yet our origins were not the same;
For I was the one that gave him life;
I was born of love;
Him of hate;
Like darkness is to light we are:
Light and Dark.
Merik and Malik.
