Disclaimer: I do not own Le Chevalier D'Eon.

Notes: I love this show but I haven't tried writing anything for it before now. I had always thought that Robin and Durand where so cute. ONESHOT.

Breaking the Rules

There were times when Robin wondered if what they were doing was right, if it was then why was it frowned upon by so many? If it wasn't then why did it feel so right?

Robin didn't know when he had felt something other than admiration towards the older man and sometimes he'll sit in his room awake and look at the sleeping long brown haired man on the other bed.

He'll stop his thoughts and lie down and try to sleep hoping to get more than an hour before the older man would wake him with soft kisses and a warm touch.

Robin doesn't even remember how it really started his memory was fuzzy from the alcohol he had drunk that night; it came to his friends attention that he had never had a drink before.

He can't remember much but he remembers pushing open the door to the room his shared with Durand and giving a childish giggle at something random that popped into his head when he heard a deep, smooth, slurred voice coming from his doorway.

"I thought you weren't a child," the man said with a smirk, Durand had also been drinking and it was noticeable from the way he was using the doorway to keep himself up.

Trying to stand upright and in an angry pose Robin reported, "I'm not a child, I'm 17 years old, I'm far from being a child." He tried to make himself seem bigger by standing straighter but failed as he stumbled.

Durand took a few steps into the room walking as best as he could, "Not a child?" he raised a perfect eyebrow at that, "Well how much did you drink Robin? Must've been a lot for you to be unable to stand right?"

Robin could tell he was playing with him but he didn't care, "I had… I had 2," his eyebrows furrowed, "I think."

An amused grin crept its way onto Durand's lips as he came to stand in front of the younger boy, "Only 2?" he asked, he bent down so as to be eye to eye with his young friend, "You've got a long way until you become a man then." He told him with cheekiness.

Robin didn't him as he was busy looking into his friends dark deep brown eyes, his own eyes drifting over the mans face, he couldn't help himself as he took a gulp.

Durand, never one to miss anything, saw something in the younger ones eyes and understanding this look he took his chance.

"Robin," his voice becoming husky and laced with something Robin didn't understand but it made his throat dry and his heart thump, "You're right, you're not a child."

Robin's mouth dropped open as he heard that and as soon as his mouth dropped his felt Durand's warm lips on his own.

He doesn't remember much after that, only that he was sore in the morning and it happened again and again after that, not that he was protesting.

He closed his eyes and slept, if what they were doing was wrong then they'll stop when they wanted to, until then they'll continue breaking the rules.
