I miss her.

Henry sat in his room unmoving. It had been three weeks since Ashley's death. He hadn't left his room once. She had been his sister. They had done so much together. And now she was gone.

Helen walked down the halls of her Sanctuary. It had been three weeks since Ashley had died. She had been her baby. There was so much they hadn't done yet. And now she was gone. And as much as Helen wanted to walk to her room, curl up on the bed and cry, she couldn't. She was the head of the Sanctuary Network. She wasn't supposed to cry.

On her way to her office, Helen heard a muffled sound coming from Henry's room. She knocked gently on the door.

"Henry? Are you all right?" A suppressed cry came from behind the door. Fearing for his safety, Helen opened the door.

There was Henry curled up in a ball on his bed, crying. Heart melting, Helen sat on the edge of the bed. She reached over to rub his back. She knew exactly what was wrong.

"Oh, Henry..." Henry turned up to look at her. He then threw himself into Helen's lap.

"I...miss her." He whispered.

And with that, Helen broke. She held him as a mother would, both grieving over the sister and daughter they had each lost.
