Chapter 1
Orian sat frozen, looking through the iced glass into the girls beautiful eyes, staring into her beautiful emerald eyes. She was dazzling with her raven black hair tossing in the wind. Her lips where moving to form the words of a song. The words came to Orian slowly and he found himself humming the tune. It was both comforting and odd.
Saturn looked over the rugged mountain landscape to the tavern and then to the house where a old man she looked after lived and worked. She finished singing the last note to her love song. Then she turned back to her cat, which she found sleeping at the foot of her bed. Just then the moon slid behind a cloud and was gone from sight. A sudden burst of wind came through the open window. Tomorrow her parents would leave for their journey to the neighboring kingdom. She walked to the open window to close it. She slept in the tallest room to the castle that her parents owned. She changed from her low-neck gown into her nightgown and climbed under the covers of her warm bed.
Orian is a vampire. The vampire that bit him meant to drink all of his blood but, Orian had escaped. He in return had become a vampire and had the teeth and wings to prove it. He never allowed anyone to see the teeth marks to that where on the side of his neck. He was a forgotten commoner and unluckily had fallen in love with the princess.
Orian blinked and saw Saturn turn around. He knew that she could not see him but he still continued to stair at her open window. His heart nearly skipped a beat as he saw Saturn turn around to close her curtains. He quietly finished his meal and walked to the house where he rented a room to sleep in. he had ignored the feeling all day but it got unexpectedly stronger and he knew something bad was going to happen. Suddenly the window to his left broke and he found that his unwanted visitor had arrived.
Saturn had gotten up three hours early this morning and was on her was out of the palace gates to the city streets. She knew that she had to be back in half and hour or so. She walked down the city street to where an old man she took care of lived. She knew that she had to be careful to not wake the young boy who rented a room here. She knocked quietly on the door as to not alert the people who lived near by. An older looking gentleman answered the door. She smiled sweetly and handed him the basket of bread and other foods she had brought him. He politely thanked her and she left to return to the castle. I hope I am not late she thought quickly as she came upon the castle gate.
