Cat's POV
"And so we're going to Mexico!" Tori finished.
"One time, when my brother went to Mexico, he got arrested for shooting Chihuahuas." I said confidently.
"One of them was a hairless cat."
Before anyone could stare at me, Sikowitz's voice crackled through the speakers.
"Can Cat Valentine please come to my classroom now."
As I got up and packed my things away, Sikowitz's voice came back over the café.
"Sikowitz out."
When I arrived, my mother, father and Sikowitz were all waiting for me.
"Daddy, Mom?"
"Honey," Dad said. "We have fantastic, yet slightly sad news."
"Yes?" I said as I sat on the steps to the stage.
"We're moving. Only just across town though." Mom quickly added.
"Wow! Couldn't that have waited until I had gotten home, though?"
"Well," Dad said "We are moving to the Palmwoods hotel, and you're joining a boy, now boy-and-girl, band called, Big Time Rush!"
"Gustavo Roque accepted you!" Mom said.
A million things rushed into my head at once, and I couldn't breathe.
I roll my head back and look at the ceiling
My lungs started to tighten and I inhale and exhale so quickly I start coughing.
Big. Time. Rush.
Only THE hottest boy band in the world, with the most yummy-licious boys ever in it, and the PALMWOODS!
The home of the future famous! So, I'm the future famous!
And, the cutest, most talented boys ever!
But what about Robbie?
I ignore the little nagging voice inside my head and look down from the ceiling, to find my parents nervous face staring at me, and Sikowitz drinking coconut milk, waiting for my reaction.
"YAY!" I sing out in my signature "happy" voice.
My parents sigh, while Sikowitz just enjoys his coconut milk.
"Would you like to go tell your friends about you leaving Hollywood Arts?" Mom said.
As I processed the words, my mouth goes dry.
I'm leaving Hollywood Arts.
"Sure!" I say, trying to recapture my recently lost optimism.
My feet are automatically walking and I find myself at my friends table.
"What was that 'bout, Little Red?" Andre asks.
I take a deep breath, and somewhere in my body I muster the power to say four simple words,
"I'm leaving Hollywood Arts."
