Albus Potter:

Christmas break was only a few days away. Me, my father, my brother, my sister, and my mother, of course plus the Weaslys were visiting Egypt. Everyone else was also celebrating the joyous occasion with almost every student leaving for Christmas. Long story short Hogwarts will be a ghost town.

Others may not agree with me but I quite enjoy hanging around the Owlery, with my second best friend Boomerang, a Barn Owl that's quite small for her breed. I started my painfully long climb to the top of the tower. About half way up the Owlery I thought it was about to crumble beneath my feet. Ignoring that small halfway point, it was pretty smooth, well compared to other times. That was when I heard the crying.

It just got worse and worse as I scooted closer to the sound. I looked around the corner, to see my best friend Scorpius Malfoy sobbing his heart out. "Hey Scorp what's wrong," I muttered. It disturbed me to see him so depressed.

He quickly wiped away his tears and said with forced confidence; "Nothing sniff. It's just sniff. My dad and mom can't have me come home for Christmas. The Ministry sniff thinks that new light has come to my father's case." I had heard both sides of the Malfoy case, one from my Uncle and Father, but of course I heard the Malfoy point of view. After I heard what the Malfoys had to go through, I knew they deserved their freedom as much as anyone else.

That's when it struck me. My grandmother had once told me that no one should alone on Christmas. I hope that includes the Malfoys. "Scorp, you know what! I'm going to spend Christmas with you!" the blonde's head shot up "Al, you don't have to do that." He muttered. "I can and I will!" I was shouting now. The huge smile on Scorpius's face was undeniable. I get to spend every Christmas with my family, I think it's about time to spend it with my best friend.

Molly Weasly:

After the small breakfast everyone had we settled down at the table. "Hermione didn't you get a promotion." I heard my husband ask our daughter-in-law in the background. But I was content with staring down a letter Harry's son, Albus had sent. It was on a Slytherin green parchment and written in gold ink, and it read;

Dear Family,

Didn't you tell me that no one should be alone on Christmas, well I hope that refers to the Malfoy's as well. Scorpius can't go home for Christmas because his father has been called to a Hearing again, and I wish to keep him company. I hope you understand.

With Love,

Albus

I nearly cried when I read it. Not because I was sad, but because I was happy. After the war over time I had learned to forgive. Many sadly have not. The fact that Albus can judge the person not the past makes me happier than I've been in a long time. Well I guess I need to sew another sweater.

Christmas Day 3rd Person:

Molly had found a way to convince the rest of the family that Albus could stay at Hogwarts. She even found time to make Scorpius a sweater. It was a little too big, but Albus insisted that he would grow into it. The two young Slytherins had a grand old time playing with the things they had gotten for Christmas. The best part, in any Malfoy's opinion, was that Draco did not in fact pay a visit to Azkaban.
