When the Lieutenant had died, Sandy had heard Kellie crying, Catina had sent the Time Lords mail and Ann had taken down the SISO defences, helped drag in the Lieutenant's body and pilot the SISO to Gallifrey.
The Time Lords had taken the Lieutenant for an autopsy and cleared him for a wake.
Kellie was in with the Lieutenant.
Sandy, Catina and Ann were in the SISO planning the Lieutenant's funeral.
"We should have all the Lieutenant's companions there to send him off," said Ann.
"Yeah," Sandy scribbled down notes.
"And put the lid on at the end," said Catina.
"Why?" asked Sandy.
"Well, we don't know..." Catina trailed off.
Sandy got up and went out to see Kellie and the Lieutenant.
They were all quite silent.
The Sandy spoke. "This is what we've come up with." Sandy handed Kellie the sheet of paper.
Kellie read. "No, not all the companions," said Kellie. "Only us and maybe the Doctor, perhaps his companions too."
"Only objection?" asked Sandy.
Kellie nodded.
Sandy returned to the SISO.
Kellie looked at the Lieutenant. It hardly seemed real, seeing him dead. All those years of Time and Space were gone with himand Kellie knew it. She had been told by the Historian that the Time Lords were planning something extra special for the send off but she sat here wondering what it was.
Catina came out of the SISO. "Is this alright, Kellie?" she asked.
"Yeah," said Kellie.
Catina went back into the SISO.
Ann came out now with the final version and submitted it to the plan machine beside the Lieutenant's bed.
The Historian walked in a short time later. "As Lord President of Gallifrey, I would be glad to perform these procedures," he said.
They were all set.
