A Fork in the Road
There comes a time when every life makes a choice, a fork in the road where reality and dreams split. Where happiness and despair part their separate ways. Where life is either made to be glorified or to be bound in chains.
When the ignorant man comes to this fork he follows the path that is the most tread. When the logical man comes upon it he cares not and chooses a path, knowing that it will all end in death. When the proud man comes across it he picks his own direction, sure that he is right. When the guilty man comes he is lost and stumbles into one or the other. When the critical man comes to the fork he weighs his options carefully and chooses what looks right to him. When the philosophic man arrives he cannot decide, and so he spends eternity trying to make a choice. When the vain man comes to the fork, he chooses what road would make him look best. And when the jealous man comes he takes the road that will lead him to power.
But when the faithful man comes to the fork in the road he sees only one path before him. He does not stop to consider, for God has already shown him the way.
