Summary: After losing those close to him Ben Tennyson is taken on a journey to show that death isn't the end that it's only the beginning.

Note: I do not on Ben 10 or any other Characters I may mention.

ONE

"Grandpa!" Ben shouted as he sat up in bed with sweat pouring down his body. He sat there grief stricken wondering how many times he would have to relive the deaths of Gwyn, Kevin and his beloved Grandpa Max. Despite others telling him that it wasn't his fault Ben knew better. Had he done things differently had he not been so arrogant then maybe they would still be alive.

Unable to get back to sleep Ben crawls out of bed and washes his face. He stares blankly into the mirror as a silent rage builds inside him. IT'S YOUR FAULT THEIR GONE his reflection taunts him over and over. Finally having enough Ben shatters the mirror with his fist. Slapping on some clothes and his trademark jacket he headed out the door hoping that a bad guy would be foolish enough to cross his path. Unknown to him though two visitors have been watching him closely sadden by what they had witnessed.

"Now you see my concern for the young Mr. Tennyson."

"Yes I agree. He needs an intervention before he does something that he will eventually regret and hopefully your intervention will set him on the bath he is destined for."

Later

"Y-You can't do this!" A cowering Psyphon shouts as he backs away. He sees a look that he's never seen before in the young hero's eyes but a look the villain knows all to well.

"Why shouldn't I Psyphon! Humongasaur shouted. Why shouldn't I end your pathetic miserable excuse for a life!"

"Your a hero. Heroes don't kill," Psyphon said hoping that Tennyson would listen to reason.

A crowd has now gathered to around as Humongosaur now had Psyphon by the throat. Some of the onlookers had their phones our recording the everything while others encouraged him to do it.

"I am a hero uh. Did being a hero save Gwen, Kevin, GRANDPA MAX!" Ben shouted tightening his grip.

Suddenly before he's able to do anything everything stops.

"Benjamin stop," a calming voice says.

Ben releases his grip and see Professor Paradox who is dressed in his steampunk look.

"Professor Parodox, what are you doing here."

"That's not the question you should be asking young Benjamin. The question you should be asking is this the path I really wish to take?" The timewalker said before popping in another gumball and gesturing towards Psyphon.

"He doesn't deserve to live. None of them do not anymore!" Ben says as the omnitrix times out.

"This isn't the Ben Tennyson I know. The Ben I know isn't judge, jury, and executioner."

Ben says nothing and remains quiet.

"Come with me Ben."

"Where and do I have a choice.

"No. Not really but I promise you that one thing that this journey will be life altering for you."

And in a flash the two disappeared.

Note: So begins Ben's journey. Think of it as Ben's It's a Wonderful Life as Professor Paradox shows Ben how other hero's such as Spider-Man and Batman carried on after the greatest tragedies in their lives. Reviews are welcomed of course and if anybody has any suggestions on who Paradox and Ben I'm all ears.
