This isn't a story, just a poem my little cousin wrote, she wants to be a writer, thought I'd give her a hand, enjoy!

I'm caring, understanding and I get you're feelings.

You'll never find a best friend like me,

I'll never go behind your back,

I'm not fake, I may talk to your enemies,

but hey they're my friends to.

I don't get why people are fake with me,

If you don't like me that's how it's gonna be.

If you ready to be real come and talk to me,

If you don't…it's not my loss,

It's your's, just 'cause….

You'll never find a best friend like me.

If your shy you can't roll with me, sorry,

If you back away from trouble, get away from me.

I got my flaws that's easy to see,

But I'm perfection in my own odd way.

Oh, trust me honey, you'll never find a best friend like me.

I'm no dumb girl, and I'm not gonna tweak,

But I think I'm a step up from that rock you had last week.

Trust me honey this world can get tough,

And there's not much to depend on.

There's ya mama and her side,

Ya daddy to...just maybe.

I doubt there's much else,

But here I stand.

And I'm not gonna brag.

I won't go off sayin' my mouth's the cleanest,

Or go off sayin 'I'm da badest',

But I will tell you right here, right now,

You'll never find someone like me.

The best you could do is graze it,

'cause you see…

I have nothing to hide,

But I'm nothin' showy,

But I'll make my presence known.

And THIS is why you'll never find a best friend like me,

It's easy 'cause you see…
