"Remind me again why we're doing this?" John muttered loading his gun.
"Is it really not obvious?"Sherlock asked as he pulled his scarf over his face and flipped up his collar.
In the distance, a clock chimed twelve. The doors of the bank open slammed open.
"Alright everybody don't panic this is just an experiment, put your hands up… Now!" Sherlock yelled firing shots at random around the large, marble room. "John keeps these people quiet, I need to think."
John sighed shaking his head at his companion before pointing his pistol at the crowd. Someone screamed.
"Sherlock, this really isn't necessary!" He called above the noise.
Somewhere in the distance sirens began to wail.
"P...Please sirs just take the money and leave no-one needs to die. Please."A shaking lady was pushing bills into John's pocket.
"I-" John began to protest but was interrupted as a gloved hand grabbed his and began to drag him away.
"Thank you for your co-operation!" Sherlock shouted as they dashed out the doors.
Hand in hand, the two raced through the alleyways of London followed closely by the screeching of police cars. Out of breath, they stopped in a cobbled, rundown road. Both men were laughing hard and clutching stitches in their sides.
"Sherlock," John wheezed, shaking with laughter, "Sherlock we just robbed a bank!"
