Living In A Strange World
A/N This is my firsy MI fic so please be nice as I was shy about posting this but like with another fic I was shy to post, Inyunaruto365 gave me the courage to try this out as I like reading Monsters Inc fics on here and my sister and I used to watch the movie a lot when I was thirteen and had it on video but whenever I used to watch it, I loved the bond between Sylley and Boo so I decided to take a crack at this.
In this, Boo is grown up and wants to return to the monster world but one fateful night Sulley comes through the closet with an infant monster that looks like him but he wants her to raise it as being the boss of a company would take away from eaising a child but the mother died after childbirth and Boo agrees to do this but I hope people like this as the idea has been in my head for over half a tear.
I came up with the idea during my work placement while talking about movies with another worker.
Prologue.........
It was a peaceful night in Maryland and in a house in the suburbs like any other, a young woman was sitting at a desk drawing pictures of another world filled with monsters but not like the vicious kind, they were always going into children's rooms and making them laugh like with her niece Alex but sighed seeing a drawing of her with a big blue furred monster with purple spots but she smiled remembering that he was her best friend and they had always been playing together when she was little but a few years had passed and she was now twenty but sighed looking at her closet door as she knew that she wanted to go back to Monstropolis badly.
She was about to go to sleep later at one in the morning when she heard the closet door open softly as something came out but she gasped seeing her monster friend as there was something in his arms as she gasped seeing it was a baby that looked like him.
"Boo you've changed so much.
You've grown so much since the last time we met." Sulley said.
Boo nodded pushing a strand of black hair away from her face as she noticed the baby in his arms as she was curious.
He then looked around the room as he noticed that most of the things from when she was little had disappeared as he knew that human children grew up as he sighed as she held the baby in her arms.
"Boo there's something I need you to do." he told her.
"Sure Sulley what is it?" she asked.
"This baby is my son Lukas but her mother died after giving birth to him but I couldn't raise him because taking care of the company would mean that he would be forgotten and I couldn't let that happen to him.
I want you to look after him and take good care of him.
Please do this for me." he said.
Boo understood as she nodded in reply.
"Of course I'll take care of him but humans mightn't understand him but that'll be okay." she answered as he hugged her.
She and the baby then watched as Sulley went back into the closet as they were a little sad.
"Don't worry as I'm sure you'll see Daddy again, I know it." she reassured the infant......
