A/N: this is my first fanfic ever published in ffnet. Please bear with grammatical error and stuffs, since English is not my first language. :)

Disclaimer: I do not own GH and the characters in this story.

That place was dark, but not the kind of pitch-dark. I could still see me standing in the dim which seemed a bit foggy. The darkness felt bizarrely strange.

How I could end up here, I could not tell. I had no idea at all. Who supposed to know how?

The last thing I knew, I was here. And when another awareness followed, I realize there was a mirror standing in front of me without any support. And how the mirror could manage to stand still, I didn't bring myself to think about it.

Weird. As convinced as the very thing in front of me was a mirror, exactly as certain as that conviction I could not spot the faintest reflection of myself on the mirror.

How many seconds, how many minutes, how long I had been staring at this mirror? No matter how long the time had passed, the thing was the mirror before my eyes now whirling, slowly.

Then I saw it. Instead of my reflection, I saw something other. Someone was standing there. A young man looked at me through the mirror. I knew him, yet I did not know who exactly. Somewhere, somewhere in the corner of my memory, he was there.

"I fulfill the promise. I came to you." The young man said softly. But every word of him stated very clearly. There was a faint longing in his voice.

"I know you." Those words came out before I could stop it. That was not a question. I was certain I recognize him, but the thick fog concealed any memories of this person. Seeing him not giving any reaction of what I said, I was feeling hesitant. "But I'm not sure though… do we—?"

"We do hate each other," He cut my curiosity. Cold and cynical. I could feel it real. My heart shrank. I hated him? Why? I did not yet have a chance to arrange my words to ask him for further explanation, the next words came from his lips stirred up the rhythm of my heart. "do love one another too." He added the final words.

I gasped. I clenched my fist tight, for the aching feeling started to penetrate my heart.

I stared up and found his eyes hold no more bitter contemptuous. Those very eyes now filled with soothing warm and tenderness. His lips formed a genuine smile.

Oh, my—

Who is this person?
