Chapter 2:
Why would Athena claim me? I'm not even her daughter! Um...sorry, I mean I barely know her!
"Well, it seems we have another addition to the Athena cabin!" Chiron exclaimed. The whole Athena table cheered. I walk over, avoiding everyone's eye contact.
"Yay! You're in our cabin!" Annabeth squeals, "everyone is so excited to meet you!" After that, I am surrounded by people and attacked with questions! When dinner was over, I sprinted to find my cabin. Unexpectedly, I slam into someone and we both fall to the floor.
"Oh my Gods! I'm so sorry!" I say.
"It's fine," the person says. I help them up. It was the boy that was staring at me!
"Oh...Kayleigh, right?" he asks.
"Yeah...what's your name?" I ask.
"Harley Smith," Harely says. Wow! What a cute name! Harley...
"Hey, you wanna go down to archery or something?" he asks me.
"Sure! Oh, I mean, I would love to," I say. We both start walking to archery. It was so romantic! Sadly, we stopped at archery. I grabbed a bow and arrow and took a shot at the target. I missed it completely! Harley snickers slightly.
"Here, let me show you how to do it before you take someones eye out!" Harley jokes. He romanticly guides my arms to the right position. He pulls my arm back and let's go. Bullseye!
"Oh my Gods that was cool!" I exclaim. I gave him a hug.
"Thanks," I say.
"No problem," he replies. This was the beginning of a great friendship!
