"Alice's Choice"
Twelve-year-old Alicen Sierra Kimberly Miller, Alice sighed as she tried to get the last bit of her homework done. She was trying her hardest to finish up an English assignment, but she was having trouble choosing what to write about.
Her teacher had assigned her a paper on a particular favorite experience she had had with someone special in her life.
It hadn't taken Alice long to decide who she was going to write about. She knew from the word go that she wanted to write about the Tweedles. Her brothers were great and she always had a lot of fun when she hung out with them.
As Alice sat at her desk, she glanced over at Dinah who was happily munching away on some cat treats Hatter had made for her.
"Dinah, I can't do this! I love to write, but there are just so many things I could write about. How am I eva gonna choose just one topic?"
Dinah meowed sympathetically. She pushed a spelling list of Sammie's over towards the twelve-year-old's desk.
Alice grinned as realization hit her.
"That's it, Dinah! I'll make a list!" With that, she got to work.
After getting her sparkle purple pen from her desk, she took out a notebook and began to make her list.
Things to write about:
The time I ruled Wonderland for a Day
The time Mom's ring got stuck in Mr. hatter's pretzel machine
When I first came to Wonderland for the first time
The first time the Queen had a good birthday
The time I traveled back in time with Rabbit and saved the future of Wonderland
The first time I went cliff diving with my brothers
The time I got lost in the woods
As Alice finished her list, she stared down at everything she had written. She smiled as a thought came to her mind. She knew exactly what she was going to write about.
As she got to work, she grinned. She loved spending time with her brothers, even though they got her into a few royal messes from time to time.
As she continued to write, she decided something. The reason it had been so hard to think of a good experience she had had with the Tweedles was because they were all special in their own way. And as she got to an exciting part in her Tweedle tale, she knew she wouldn't' trade any of those experiences for anything.
