SPOILER ALERT!!! IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE SECOND NOVELLISATION AND WANT TO WAIT FOR THE MOVIE, DO NOT READ THIS!!!

Can't say I didn't warn you. Also, if you have read it and are currently doing as I am (jumping up and down ever other minute through sheer joy) let me know! Literally none of my friends care in the slightest. The only mate I thought would is a DC girl so we're not allowed to talk comics .

Also: Chapter 8 of River should be up tonight (hopefully). I'm finishing it up as soon as this is posted.

"Huh." Tony said.

"Huh what?"

"I never saw the suit fly away before." Tony turned and winked at her. "Wicked cool."

Pepper smiled at this and leaned her head on his shoulder, extremely conscious of his arm still around her waist. "You know, he's learned how to use that thing a lot quicker than you did."

"He had a great teacher." Tony said, nudging her. "Besides, I had to learn from scratch."

They looked out once more on the total catastrophe that was the Expo. Pepper sighed. "I don't know whether to be relieved or not that I'm no longer CEO after this."

"Snap. You realise you just put me back in the driving seat of this hundred-mile-an-hour car?"

"At least you haven't got guys with whips coming to get you anymore."

Tony laughed. "True. And I have my multi-talented assistant back ready to clean up all the messes I make." He released her and slowly lowered himself on the ledge of the roof, taking one of her hands to compensate for the gap. She still wasn't looking him in the eye. "Was it weird for you?"

"Of course it was." She said, finally looking at him. Tony's face fell slightly. "But that doesn't mean I didn't like it." She sat next to him on the ledge and tried to stifle her own smile at the sheer joy that spread across Tony's face.

"Just liked it?" he asked, edging nearer.

"Well," she said, finally giving in to the urge to touch him and running her fingers through his hair. "there's always room for improvement."

"Couldn't agree more."
