Disclaimer: I own nothing but if I did, there would be a lot of happy doctor who fans today and not depressed ones.
Summary: Just a little remembering Rose
"Who was she Doctor?" Martha asked holding up the black jacket, her eyes burning with anger. He ignored her, clattering around the Tardis as if to block her out.
"Another companion?" she asked incredulously, "Just another stupid cow lured in by the Doctor's charms?" Martha suddenly found herself pinned up against the wall, the Doctor's eye's glaring at her, his face white with rage.
"Don't you ever talk about Rose like that again," he whispered dangerously, "Only Rose was different, and she earned it." He released his grasp, and Martha knew it hadn't been hard, just a natural reflex. The Doctor backed away and slumped down against the control panel. Martha moved forward knelt before him.
"Tell me about her," she muttered encouragingly, sitting down opposite him. He raised his head and grinned.
"She was the stuff of legends."
My bad wolf. My clever and beautiful Rose.
I loved her. But there was no way to ever tell her that. I'd had my chance and but I'd lost it because of my stupid love of saying people's whole names when I spoke to them.
A simple "Rose I loveā¦.," would have told her.
Or even "I love you Rose," then if I'd disappeared, she would have got the idea.
But no. I'm so stupid, the worlds greatest genius is stupid. It's official.
Martha's no quite you. Another companion. She's not so curious, not so filled with childish delight. But she's someone to talk to Rose. After you, I can't do it alone. Can't save the world alone, can't travel alone. The Tardis is quiet. So very quiet.
Oh Rose what I would give to come back to you. I can't endanger the universe though. Regardless of which one it is.
But if I find a way, I will go back. Even if you're old and grey. I'll find a way to tell you.
More trash to make myself feel better.
