Amber. Those were the color of the eyes that met hers when she awoke from what seemed like the longest sleep of her entire life. The eyes were filled with mixed emotions but relief seemed to be the major feeling. She tried lifting her arm, to reach out to the person, but a pain in her arm prevented it. When her chocolate brown eyes followed her arm down to the pain she quirked an eyebrow.
"What's this?" she asked looking into the amber eyes once again.
Breaking eye contact, she began to glance around the room she was in to try and place where she was. The walls were white and plain with random pictures of flowers organized on the walls. There was a counter and cabinets that matched the color of the walls. There was a consistent beeping that was near her. She turned her head trying to find the source, some of her raven locks getting in her face. When she found the source of the beeping, that was slowly getting on her nerves, she scrunched up her nose.
"Kagome?"
Her name floated off of his lips like silk slipped off of a person's body. His voice was deep, but not too deep and sent an unknown shiver up her spine. She swung her head to look at him. His features caught her attention and she couldn't help but stare. His hair flowed like a calm river down past his waist and was silver. He said something but she wasn't paying enough attention to his voice to catch what he said but she did notice fangs when he did speak. Were they real?
"Kagome?"
"Yes." She answered.
A small smile graces his face and he raised a hand to cup her face. "You had me so worried. I'm glad you're okay."
She gave a small nod of her head. "I'm sorry. I have a question though. I have a feeling I'm supposed to know the answer to this but I can't come up with the answer. "
"Okay."
"Who are you?"
