It's time to get jak17ified once again with another story. And it's called Resident Evil: Oblivion. Yes, the horror series we all know and love is back with a new character. And his name is Rick Steele. So here it is, enjoy! (Disclaimer: I do not own Resident Evil)

15 years ago a town called Raccoon City was destroyed by a viral outbreak. The virus was created by the pharmaceutical enterprise, Umbrella. After the world found that Umbrella was at fault for the outbreak, stock prices crashed and Umbrella was shut down. I was in Raccoon when it happened. I escaped the city but was captured by mercenaries. Soon after, I had been taken to Rockfort Island where I had been tested on until a virus leaked all over the island. Once again I barely escaped the horrific nightmare. I wouldn't have made it out if it hadn't have been for my new abilities. See, when I had been tested on, Umbrella didn't use viral stains. Instead they tried to make a stronger monster using electricity. Before they finished, the virus broke out and I escaped. When I escaped, the government found out about me and put me in charge of an agency that helps clean up viral outbreaks. For 14 years I had been around the world combatting viral outbreaks and other nightmares. Now I'm in for the fight of my life.

"Commander Steele to the medical room, repeat: Commander Steele to the medical room." It was time for my weekly test. Ever since I had been tested on, I would sometimes lose control of myself if I had been using my abilities for too long. But lately I had been taking a drug to avoid that.

"Morning Angela" I said.

"Good morning commander." She said cheerfully. This isn't normal for her. Usually she's in a bad mood.

"You're awfully happy this morning. What's the occasion?"

"Well after work, I have to go to Florida to see my son's wedding. By the way I need to-"

"Of course you can. What kind of person would I be if I said no?"

"Thanks commander. Ok you're all done."

"Good. I have to be in Los Angeles today to check out a report of a possible outbreak. I just need the rest of the file to see what we could be dealing with."

"Well, be careful commander. I get kind of tired of seeing you in here three times a week." As if on cue, Jenkins our Intel guy, burst through the door with a folder full with papers.

"Please tell me that's this week's lunch schedule." I said.

"Nope, sorry." He answered.

"Great." I took the file and left the room. I walked down the hall and read the file, getting more and more worried with each page. They all showed results of a new virus. Something called the Oblivion Virus. I walked toward the armory, knowing if this virus got released; the world would be in a lot of trouble. I got the gear I would need and headed to the hangar.
