Hello everybody, Yes a Heroes story, for the first times in years, what can I say, Love's in the air, and I want to capture it in writing. As I do every year, for the span of two weeks, I write in different fandoms about the pairings I care about. I still have it give it a proper header, but 'Love is a open gateway' sounds good.
This will have a spoiler from Heroes Reborn (not a lot since... I have opinions I will keep to myself of the mini-series)
The world was blurry, in Claire's eyes, as she started to awaken. She took a deep breath, and out. There was still pain, from her lower region. Even if she felt everything knitted back together, she felt a dull ache.
"Welcome back to the land of the living." She heard Peter say, coming into clear focus. Emma was right besides him, smiling.
"Not like I can go anywhere else."
There was a knock at the side of the door. "Is she up?"
Peter snorted. "Yeah, she's up, you're good."
Gabriel came into view, carrying two fussy bundles in his arms.
Claire started to tear up. "Our children."
Gabriel looked at their little miracles. "Our children."
Claire held out her arms, and took Nathan and Malia into them.
There would be a large road ahead, given Claire's position after the explosion of evolved humans, and her role as the face of how far powers could go. But, even with everything Sylar has done in the name of gaining abilities, Gabriel will do his best in order to help the next generation in the future.
